The complete Lyrita back-catalogue – the brainchild of one man, Richard Itter – is at last appearing on CD, together with many recordings never previously issued. The Lyrita Story - 12.15pm Sat 29 September 2007 After the CD Review programme on Saturday 29 September Radio 3 celebrated Lyrita’s achievements over the past half-century. Presented by Lewis Foreman, the programme featured contributions from Lyrita’s producers and recording engineers and the label’s artists, from pianist Margaret Kitchin to conductor Vernon Handley – alongside a rare new interview with Richard Itter himself.
