Nikos Christodoulou conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra in Greek composer Skalkottas' Thema con variazione for orchestra.
The piece was the very last composition Skalkottas worked on, and orchestration was incomplete when the composer died in 1949. Conductor and Skalkottas expert Christodoulou completed it for this recording.
