Why Become a Volunteer?

Your time is in demand, and you might not even know it.

If you like the idea of giving some spare time to do something that makes a difference, but just don't know how to go about it, Time 2 Share can help. In partnership with TimeBank you can register through this site to offer your time, doing something that interests you, and at the end of the day make a lasting impact on an individual, a community or an organisation.

Could you be a listening ear for someone?

    Signing Up With Time2Share
When you've registered on the 'Sign up' page in this site, your details are sent to TimeBank. You'll be sent a TimeGuide from them with details of the type of opportunities available for volunteers.

Once you've decided on the type of thing you'd like to do you let TimeBank know and they will find you a matching opportunity. For more information on how your details are used and how you're matched with opportunities see the 'What is Time 2 Share' page.

    Types of Volunteering Opportunities
There are loads of opportunities in volunteering available for example, taking calls to a helpline, working with young people, sports coaching, building a charity website or preserving the countryside. Or if you can take some time out of your job or life in the UK - you could even volunteer abroad through orgasations like VSO - who's details will be in your Time Guide.
