Eurovision 2004

James Fox UK's Eurovision Contestant
James talks about song writing

James Fox
James and the rest of the contestants at Eurovision will be on Radio 2 and BBC 1, Saturday 15 May, 8pm till 11pm.

James Fox first hit the mass consciousness when he joined the BBC's Fame Academy in 2003. Despite a good run in the halls of celebrity academia he was voted off the show two weeks before the final. It hasn't hurt his career though. Since then he has gathered thousands of fans from across Europe. They'll stand him in good stead since he won Making Your Mind Up in February 2004 and was chosen to represent the UK in Eurovision 2004. He'll be singing 'Hold On To Our Love' written by Tim Woodcock and Gary Miller. Both are now writing tracks for James' debut album.
But James has been writing his own material for years. In this interview he talks about how he goes about composing his songs

Recently I've been writing a lot more storytelling songs...
