BRITs 25 Song Award
Fields Of Gold - Sting

Sting
Fields Of Gold was the third song to be taken from Sting's Grammy Award winning Ten Summoner's Tales. It was influenced by walking through the meadows of barley that are near his home in Wiltshire.

Fields Of GoldSting's release of Fields Of Gold reached number sixteen during the summer of 1993 and the song had a new lease of life when Eva Cassidy recorded a sublime version on her Songbird  album in 1998.
