Vote A Vehicle Off The Road was a week-long poll which gave the British Public the chance to select the vehicle they would most like to vote off our roads, if they could.

Britain’s roads are the most clogged-up in Europe. We have the second highest rate of road rage in the world. There is no doubt that we are a nation of angry motorists - especially when it comes to congestion and bad or dangerous driving – and for most of us there is one type of vehicle that is most at fault.
Alll week the Jeremy Vine Show invited you to vent your feelings with a national poll to vote a vehicle off the road. The initial nominations were whittled down to a shortlist of eight and by midday on Friday 09 March we had recieved over twenty five thousand votes by phone, SMS and Online.
On Friday show we eliminated the four vehicles with the lowest number of votes, and at the end of the programme, Jeremy was joined by Steve Wright who revealed that Britain's least popular vehicle is the 4x4
