ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Adam Roberts was born in London. He attended the University of Aberdeen, where he graduated with a degree in English and Classics.

He currently teaches English Literature and Creative Writing at Royal Holloway, University of London.

By Light Alone is his twelfth work of science fiction for adults
