ABOUT THE BOOK:

Following an accident in her mid-twenties, Christine wakes up every morning to find her memory completely wiped.

She doesn't even know that the man lying in bed beside her is her husband.

Now forty-seven, she has started keeping a journal on the recommendation of a doctor. They hope it may lead to a cure.

Instead, it sends her on a voyage of self-discovery that rocks the foundations of her world, and has terrifying implications both for Christine and the people who love her.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

SJ Watson was born in the Midlands and now lives in London. He worked in the NHS as an audiologist for many years. In 2008, he was accepted in the first Faber Academy 'Writing A Novel' course, and Before I Go To Sleep is the result.
