Sunday 8 October

On Good Morning Sunday this week Chris De Burgh joins Aled Jones live in the studio. Chris explains how profound thoughts and vision are translated into word and song and discusses the messages in his latest album - The Storyman. Looking ahead to the Service of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in November Chris explains why war - and peace - have frequently featured in his compositions and what he hopes to achieve by that.

Prof Ram Gokel from the Hindu community discusses current Hindu festivals and other ethical issues of the day.


Sunday 1 October

On Good Morning Sunday this weekend Aled Jones talks to Katherine Apanowicz about the life of Richard Whiteley. As his friend and partner for over thirty years she explains how the much loved television presenter died and the comfort she, friends and members of the public drew from his memorial service at York Minster.

Soul Singer James Hunter joins Aled in the studio and Rabbi Pete Tobias chats about current Jewish festivals and contemporary issues.
