Tonight Radio 2 presents a very special Friday Night Is Music Night - John Barrowman & Friends. Hosted by John, the show features some of his favourite songs, sung by his favourite chums… theatre-land’s finest talent.

The 70-piece BBC Concert Orchestra is leading the festivities conducted by Larry Blank, and with performances from Daniel Boys, Peter Grant, Shona Lindsay, Matt Rawle and Sally Ann Triplett.

The concert comes from London's Mermaid Theatre and is live to air on Radio 2. It begins at 1930 and will finish at 2115.
