1. If you submit an image to us by email you do so in accordance with the BBC's Terms and Conditions.

2. In contributing to the Rex Factor, you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media. It's important to note, however, that you still own the copyright to everything you contribute. This means you are perfectly free to take what you have produced and re-publish it somewhere else. If your image is selected for publication, we will publish it alongside your name and comments.

3. We can only accept submissions from 1700, Monday 5 January until 1600, Thursday 22 January 2009.

5. The BBC cannot guarantee that all pictures will be published and we reserve the right to edit any comments that appear alongside the photo. The BBC's decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

6. You must own the copyright in any photograph you send in or have the consent of the copyright owner.

7. You must have permission of all people featured in the photograph for it to be sent in for possible display on our website. If the photograph includes anyone under 16 you will need the consent of their parent/guardian.

8. Photographs must be suitable for inclusion on a BBC website and must not infringe copyright or any third party rights.
