THURSDAY 29 MAY

17.25 - The Plank
We’ve gone in search of the perfect stomach, with the help of Gordon Ramsay’s Personal Trainer, Genefer Archer...

"The best exercise to train the deep core layer is ‘the plank’. Imagine yourself lying on a beach, propped up on your forearms reading a book. Lift your hips up off the floor so that you’re being held up by only your forearms and your tiptoes. Make a triangle with your body, and don’t let your back sag. If that’s too hard to begin with, try the knees. Do it for one minute at a time – it’s one of the most effective exercises you can do for the core."
