Dance music is a now multi-million pound industry, which began in the smoky dives of Chicago and Berlin. The dawn of acid house in 1988 was dubbed “the second summer of love” but its roots lay in the techno and house clubs of Chicago and Berlin. The people credited with forming this acid house soundtrack are now revered as legends.
In a two-part series we trace the origins of dance music and rave culture in this country and we want your personal stories!
Thank you for all the stories you've sent in to the programme makers.
