The Script

Music Club Introduces...
The Script

Saturday 19 April,
2000-2030

The Script perform an intimate concert at the BBC's Maida Vale studios in London.

The Script are: Danny O’Donoghue (keys and vocals), Mark Sheehan (guitar) and Glen Power (drums).

They are an Irish trio who intend to take over 2008 with their intoxicating forward thinking music - a whole new brand of Celtic Soul, blending hip hop lyrical flow with pop melodiousness, state-of-the-art R'n'B production with anthemic rock dynamics, and classic song construction with gritty contemporary narratives. It's Timbaland meets U2.

The Script are not newcomers to the music scene, however, as they spent their early years in LA producing for other artists, and working with the likes of Rodney Jerkins, the Neptunes, Teddy Reilly and Dallas Austin.

The band's debut single, 'We Cry', a soulful anthem of everyday struggle, will be released at the end of April 2008, to be followed by their debut album in August.
