At approximately 1430 UK time, in front of a huge expected worldwide television audience, the Olympic flag will pass from the Mayor of Beijing to the Mayor of London, signifying the end of the Beijing Olympics and the start of London's tenure as Summer Host City.
The concert features unique collaborations and specially arranged sporting tracks performed by artists including Will Young, The Feeling, James Morrison, McFly, Scouting For Girls, Il Divo, Katherine Jenkins and the winners of BBC One's Last Choir Standing.
