  Out of Liverpool
Tuesday 3 June
2230-2330
Brookside and Grange Hill creator Phil Redmond presents a celebration of Liverpool's achievements.
He asks: why does the city have such an outstanding roll-call of creative talent?
Is it the air, the water, or its location on the coast, looking out towards the rest of the world?
Join Phil, who is in charge of Liverpool's artistic programme as European City of Culture 2008, as he takes a tour of the city's hotspots - including the nightclub, Cream, and the Actor's Studio at the Liverpool Academy of Arts.
Along the way, he'll be asking a host of Liverpool talent, including Pete Postlethwaite, Jimmy McGovern, Roger McGough and The Rascals just what makes the city such a creative hotbed.
This programme is part of BBC Radio 2's Liverpool Season.
