Here are some frequently asked questions about Listen Again:

How do I listen to the shows again on my computer?
Why are the programmes only available for 7 days?
Why can't I rewind or fast forward on the player?
Why I do I hear BBC news at the beginning of the show?

How do I listen to the shows again on my computer?
You will need a software application called Realplayer. If you do not have this program installed on your machine, we recommend you download the Basic version for free from the RealPlayer website. Find out how to download this application on our Real Player help page.

Why are the shows only available for seven days?
There are various copyright issues relating to this service, so for the time being we are concentrating on these shows being available to you for a period of 7 days.

Can I fast forward or rewind the player whilst listening to the show?
Due to copyright restrictions we are unable to provide rewind or fast forward transports. You can however use the 5 min skip facility, which enables the listener to jump forward in 5 min chunks. Very handy if you get bumped offline. Please note that MAC users will not have this facility as MAC operating systems won't support this function. We are constantly reviewing the service and are looking to make this possible in the future.

Why can I sometimes hear the news at the beginning of a clip?
To ensure that the whole of a show is available to you , the recording may start early. This is unlikely to be more than a couple of minutes, so we advise to listen through this rather than skip 5 mins.
