Radio 2's search to find the international musical theatre stars of the future.

Over the last few months this worldwide competition has been looking for young professional performers to compete for the coveted title of Radio 2 Voice Of Musical Theatre.

And the winner was Aimie Atkinson, read her full biography and details of her journey through the competition on the BBC New Talent webpages.

A cash prize, a package of career boosters - including BBC broadcast engagements, casting potential within the Cardiff International Festival of Musical Theatre, plus a demo recording opportunity with UCJ, await the winner of this internationally renowned competition.

The Radio 2 Voice Of Musical Theatre is the centrepiece of the Cardiff International Festival of Musical Theatre and is produced by BBC Cymru Wales. It is a unique opportunity to be heard and seen by producers, directors and agents from around the world.
