It's time to dust off that picnic hamper, dig out the flags, and join in the party as Terry Wogan hosts a wonderful evening's entertainment, starring José Carreras, Lesley Garrett, violinist David Garrett and special guest Sharleen Spiteri, with the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Martin Yates. Sue Perkins, the winner of BBC TV's Maestro series, will also be featured conducting the BBC Concert Orchestra.
The evening culminates in a live big-screen link-up to the Royal Albert Hall, so you can sing your socks off in the irresistible sequence of familiar tunes - including Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem and the National Anthem, led by the Royal Choral Society.
