Howard Goodall presents his Christmas concert with the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by John Wilson featuring the London Adventist Chorale, one of the world's leading players, acclaimed Welsh harpist Catrin Finch, 'the world's first choir boyband' The Choir Boys and the versatile, former member of The Swingle Sisters, soprano Joanna Forbes.
The concert, which will be broadcast on Christmas Day evening at 2200, includes popular carols from Carl Davis, Hely-Hutchinson and Leroy Anderson as well as familiar favourites from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker suite, Prokofiev's Lieutenant Kije and Howard Blake's The Snowman. It also premieres the much anticipated The Wizard of Oz Suite arranged by John Wilson.
