Alison Moyet found fame in the early 80s as one half of synth-pop duo Yazoo, alongside Vince Clark. She left to start a solo career which has lasted over twenty years. Her latest album 'Voice', is her most successful since 1987's Raindancing.

Midge Ure Midge Ure

Scottish lead singer of the band Ultravox, solo artist and co-writer of Band Aid's classic 'Do They Know It's Christmas', Midge Ure has enjoyed a lengthy and varied musical career.

Nick Phillips Nick Phillips, Chairman for Warner Music UK and Ireland

Nick began his music career at the age of 15 with ATV Music, working within Royalties, Copyright and International. Five years later he joined EMI Music Publishing where he held various positions, including that of Talent Acquisition Manager. Nick then joined MCA (now known as Universal Music Publishing) as Creative Manager in 1988. He became Managing Director and Vice President of MCA Music International in 1991.

In December 1993, Nick moved from publishing to take up the position of Managing Director for MCA Records. He was later appointed Chairman of MCA in recognition of his success within the business. He later joined Warner Music UK as Chairman in 1999.

Doug D'Arcy Doug D'Arcy

Doug D'Arcy began in the music business in 1968 as a booking agent and manager at the Ellis-Wright Agency which became Chrysalis. He worked at Chrysalis Records as the Managing Director and then President in 1986. After its sale to EMI, Doug started Dedicated Records, a joint venture with BMG, featuring Spaceman 3, Spiritualized, Cranes and in the US, Beth Orton. Doug currently owns a music consultant, management and investment company, Songlines. He was a founding board member of the Association of Independent Music and now chairs its Training, Education and Mentoring committee.
Paul Gambaccini Paul Gambaccini

Paul appeared on BBC Radio 1 for 18 years, presenting the US Chart Show for most of that time. In addition to broadcasting, Paul has co-authored of 'The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles', 'The Complete Eurovision Song Contest Companion' and several books of his own. Paul currently presents America's Greatest Hits on Radio 2.
