Radio 2 brought together some of the biggest names in music to revive the music of Elvis in a special concert in London's Hyde Park hosted by Chris Evans with a special appearance by Priscilla Presley.

  • In the year that the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll would have turned 75, Radio 2 brought together some great names from the world of pop and rock music to perform his best loved and most popular songs as part of Elvis Forever, a concert in London’s Hyde Park on Sunday 12 September 2010, hosted by Radio 2 breakfast show presenter Chris Evans with a special appearance by Priscilla Presley.

    The proceedings were led by Chris plus other guest presenters who are all great fans of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, culminating in a spectacular firework finale.

    This thrilling exclusive concert was broadcast live on Radio 2, and during the week listeners will also be able to hear highlights across the station’s daytime shows.

    1. In the interest of safety please do not bring any glass items (including bottles), barbecues or flaming torches.

    2. The special circumstances of this event allow alcoholic drink to be brought in to the arena in reasonable quantities. Not more than 1 litre of wine or beer to be brought into the arena per person.

    3. The Concert takes place on a Green-Field site and the ground may be uneven. There will be temporary roadways and ramps. Please take care when walking on and off these roads and ramps and when crossing them in wheelchairs.

    4. There is no readmission to the site once you have left.

    5. No hampers or cool boxes over 20 inches x 13 inches x 8 inches.

    6. With the exception of those persons with limited mobility, please avoid the use of chairs as this obstructs the view of others. If it is essential that chairs are used please be considerate.

    7. The BBC reserves the right to refuse admission in reasonable circumstances.

    8. Persons will not be admitted to the event if in the opinion of the stewards, they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    9. Children under 14 are not permitted unless accompanied by an adult.

    10. Ticket holders consent to the filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience.

    11. It is possible the sound pressures may exceed 96dB.

    12. This ticket will not be exchanged or refunded unless the performance is cancelled.

    13. If a ticket is resold for profit or commercial gain, the ticket will be void.

    14. Every member of the audience must possess a ticket which must be produced to gain admittance to the arena.

    15. The BBC reserves the right to make any alteration to the advertised details of the performances.

    16. The use of professional photographic or recording equipment in the arena is prohibited.
