Raymond Blanc

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £50,000 for Children In Need.

The package is for the legendary chef Raymond Blanc to come to your house and cook for you and up to 11 friends!

Package details:

* Raymond Blanc, the owner and chef at Le Manoir, Oxfordshire will leave his restaurant in the hands of others and head to your house to cook a three course meal for you and eleven friends.

Please note: he will supply the ingredients but you must provide the plates, knives, glasses etc. You will need to provide any alcohol.

Ashes To Ashes stars

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £21,000 for Children In Need.

The package is for you and a friend  to visit the set of two top BBC One dramas, New Tricks and Ashes to Ashes, where you will meet the casts and see how things work on the sets. You'll also both attend TV BAFTAs in 2009.

Package details:

New Tricks:
*Go behind the scenes on the set of New Tricks, which stars Amanda Redman, Dennis Waterman, Alun Armstrong and James Bolam, at Pinewood studios.
*Then have lunch at Pinewood with the cast.
*Then receive a signed copy of the DVD by the cast

Ashes to Ashes:
*Go to London for a set visit to the 1980s! This will take place between now and mid Feb 09 and will involve the following:
*A tour of the set with Dean Andrews who plays Ray, where you will see CID, Luigi's, Alex's Flat, Hair and Make Up, Wardrobe and Catering.
*Meet and greet the cast
*Some extra treats will be thrown in too – maybe you will find yourself on location, or having an 80’s make-over, or in an edit suite seeing the show being put together.
*Also go home with a signed script from series one, book / DVD and maybe a prop!


*Attend the most prestigious ceremony in the TV awards calendar, the TV BAFTAs on 26 April 2009 at The Royal Festival Hall.
*The two tickets include champagne reception, awards ceremony, dinner and after party.
Please note: you will need to make your way to and from London of each occasion. New Tricks and Ashes To Ashes visits both on dates to be agreed.

Victoria Hart

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £9,000 for Children In Need.

The package is for you to be captured in photo, on paper and in sound so you can be immortalised, and stay forever young.

Package details:

*Be photographed by legendary celebrity photographer Rankin who has shot some of the world's most famous people, including Kate Moss, Queen Elizabeth II and Tony Blair. 
*Be in a Book. Your name will be included (either as a character or in the author’s note) in Bernard Cornwell's next book. Bernard is the writer of classic novels such as the Sharpe series and the Starbuck Chronicles – and is currently in the best sellers’ list for his book Azincourt.
*Be on a CD. You can record a CD with artist Victoria Hart in London. Spend one day in the recording studio with the star of the album The Lost Gershwin. Victoria will duet with you and provide harmonies. This includes the mixing and mastering and musical direction, plus it will be released on iTunes and in the shops by record label Proper.
Please note: you will need to make your way to and from London. Dates are to be arranged at a mutually convenient time. No advance royalty payment will be paid in relation to the production of the CD. Your image from Rankin will be for personal use only and cannot be published in any media.

Justin Rose

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £20,000 for Children In Need.

The package is for real golf fans!  How do you fancy having a game of golf with the former European Number One....Justin Rose??  He will join you and THREE friends for a 4-ball - just for Children in Need.

Plus, to help you get ready, you can all brush up your performance with a training weekend at the exclusive golf resort Celtic Manor in Wales.

Package details:

*Both parts of the prize are for THREE people.
*On mutually agreed date you and two friends will go to the Wisley Golf Course in Surrey and play a round of golf with Mr Justin Rose.
* You also have two nights' luxury accommodation at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort, with full Welsh breakfast
*Dinner on one of the nights in the new fine-dining restaurant, The Crown at Celtic Manor.
*A lesson with one of Celtic Manor's PGA professionals at the state-of-the-art golf academy.

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £20,000 for Children In Need.

This package is for four people to go to the preview night of the West End production of Oliver!, starring Jodie Prenger and Rowan Atkinson.

Package details:

*Start the evening with a slap up meal in theatrical haunt PJ Bar and Grill
*Then on to the Drury Lane Theatre where you will see the show before opening night – in exclusive box seats.
*You’ll get free programmes and interval drinks
*Then the company manager will give you a backstage tour of the theatre and take you on the stage where the cast perform every night.
*You will also meet and greet Nancy herself, Jodie Prenger.
*You'll take away a signed piece of artwork from the show!!

Please note: you'll need to get yourself to and from London. A hotel will be provided for the night.

Shaun Keaveny's Macca-Signed Ukelele

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £13,500 for Children In Need.

The package is for you to become the owner 6Music breakfast presenter Shaun Keaveny's Mahalo ukelele - which has been signed by living legend, Sir Paul McCartney.

In Shaun's own words:

"It breaks my heart to part with this, my lovely flying V Uke that has jouneyed with me through many months of hard touring on the Alabama chitlin circuit. (That bit is a lie)."

"I have strummed it on air many times on my 6Music breakfast show and it has been used in anger by such bands as The Young Knives and The Mystery Jets.

" To be scribbled on by history's greatest pop writer is the perfect destiny for such a wonderful instrument…

Package details:

*This is a Mahalo ukelele belonging to Shaun Keaveny – presenter over on 6 Music. It went to Glastonbury last summer with Shaun so the carry bag is a bit muddy!
*Paul McCartney was on his show on Shaun's show on Tuesday 11 November and signed the back “Cheers Paul McCartney 08”
*Shaun is donating it to Children in Need and he’s tuned it for us.
*We have a photo of Paul signing it to prove authenticity.
