More Folk & Country on Radio 2

Festival tickets have now all sold out. Organisers are warning don't travel to the festival if you don't have a ticket because you won't get in! Radio 2 will be covering the Cambridge Folk Festival again this year so if you don't have a ticket you will still be able to hear the top acts from the festival. Another one of the superbly talented Wainwrights will be there - this time Martha. We can also confim that Christy Moore will be playing his only UK date this year at Cambridge and the Grammy Award winning artist Lucinda Williams will be making her first appearance at the festival.

The Festival runs from the 28 - 31 July in the Cherry Hinton Hall Grounds in Cambridge. Other artists scheduled to perform this year include Mavis Staples, Kate Rusby, The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Altan, Tinariwen and The Unusual Suspects.

Tickets for Cambridge will be going on sale from Sunday 1st May. For more information, and the latest developments on the line-up and tickets, visit the official website, or call (01223) 457245.
