Scooch were formed in 1998 and signed to EMI Records. Russ, Natalie, Caroline and David soon became one of the most popular teen pop acts of the late Nineties and early Naughties, performing on countless arena tours and television shows including; Top of the Pops, SM:TV, CD:UK, Live and Kicking, The Pepsi Chart Show, The Priory, The Big Breakfast and GMTV.
Scooch scored four top 20 hits including the massive top five single “More Than I Needed to Know”, culminating in their album “Four Sure”. In their time together they performed alongside Christina Aguilera, Kylie, Westlife and Ronan Keating to name but a few. Their success wasn’t just limited to the UK either, with number ones in various countries worldwide.
Since they split six year’s ago Russ has been TV presenting, currently working on “The Great Big British Quiz” on Five. He also featured in the hit Channel 4 and E4 show “Boys Will Be Girls”…trying to pass himself off as a woman! Natalie, now a full time mum to her six year old son Michael, has been working on her own solo projects. She has scored two dance hits with “Unchained Melody” and “Music to My Heart”, toured extensively as a solo artist, as well as working as a session singer and singing teacher.
David went back into education gaining an HND in Musical Theatre and is currently completing his degree in Performance. David has also set up his own very successful stage school “Performers” which has been running for six years now. Caroline moved from pop music to musical theatre. Having joined the cast of Grease in the West End, she then moved on to The Producers as part of the original cast alongside Lee Evans and Nathan Lane and currently stars alongside Peter Kay.
So why have they decided to reform for Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up? Russ said: “Last year’s winners Lordi showed that it’s about the whole performance and that’s what we were always known for. “We decided to do it because we felt it was our job to bring Eurovision back to its former glory. The UK hasn’t done too well of late and we’re taking it back to pure pop music. “We’re the Buck’s Fizz for this generation – pure pop is going to bring the Eurovision back to the UK. “We’ve got a catching song, fantastic costumes and a great dance routine, but you’ll have to wait till the night for any tricks.”

Cheesy cheesy cheesy, but hey this is eurovision, so its aimed well. We badly need a win, but i spose whatever we put out wont do it, cos nobody in euro land seems to like us except for the irish. Considering we all take holidays and spend money in these countries, you'd think theyd at least consider us for a few points...but nope.
Martin Risby, Vale of Glamorgan
This is an embarrassment to our country. Look who won last year, Finland who sent Hard Rocking Monsters and what do we send rejects from a holiday camp who sing about a plane flight. Its not catchy it's LAME!!!!
Eurovision Fan
Fantastic - only just caught you tonight on Graham Norton. Now I can't wait for the contest. Its a fantastic song, great outfits - and very eurovision.... Go Scooch Go !!!
Andrew, Attleborough
As a huge eurovision fan, I do believe if the contest was judged fairly this song has every chance of winning. I have always liked Scooch and they are by far the best group for the job. Eurovision songs should be cheesey, simple and catchy - this song does not leave your head. Come Europe, no tactical voting, Scooch are the winners. Good Luck
zaneb, cardiff
i think that was amazing i have been listening to it as soon as i heard it now i cant get it out of my head !!!!!
O&S UK
You call this a song... What a load of complete drivel, sounds lyk a load of screaming banchies dancing round a camp fire. Looks like is another year of taken first place being last. Embarrased to be English.'Would you like a complimentary drink with your meal sir?' Com'on Get a grip.
Callum , Ireland
The flag at the end just ruins it... get it sorted... its a typical crap uk song good luck... lorsers need it...
Leigh, West Sussex
What a fantastic show it was! The music, Terry making a mistake. It was just good Eurovision UK style. And to top it all Scooch won the cherry on the cake for me - Good luck Scooch!! I'll be supporting you.
stavros,cyprus
.....maybe next year
Pat Os, Manchester
Rubbish how did they win to represent us EMBARRASING
Dan, Birmingham
It's about time we introduced camp pop back into eurovision...at least will wont go away with 'Nil Points' this year!
Carol Jackson
What a refreshing change to find at long last a gimmicky song for Eurovision. It's one of those songs which once heard it keeps playing in your head all day. Well done. Hope you win
Dominik
I HATE this song. It's so late 80's and begginings of th 90's. 0 points from the whole of Europe
~BeTh~cHeStEr~
i love it , i think it should win , it is really good !!!!! xxx
Cordelia , London ,
Awful , simply awful , cyndi should have won !!
Andrew, Suffolk
What a fab song, pure Eurovision. This must be a winner!
david, Cirencester
This is a fun song and its an improvement on last years 'mistake'. If they can get it right on the night then we can hopefully get enough votes to either come close or even better win... Go scooch fly the flaf for us x
Danielle ,London
Really pathetic !! Maybe would have worked 30 years ago.
Julie from sunderland
I think this song is great you will do really well with it hope its the winner x x x
Peter - Blackburn
Well you've done it guys!! You've finally shown me that something truely dreadful can be sooo funny! You don't stand a chance - unless the whole of europe is on mind altering drugs. The only thing that really saddens me is that this is apparently the best the uk can come up with. Oh Dear :-(
David - Herts
I'm SOOOOO embarrased to be associated in anyway with this song and Scooch's performance. I don't want to be British anymore, and certainly not on the Eurovision night! It's so cringeworthy. Please can the UK withdraw their entry. Please, please, please. The UK has so much incredible song writing and performing talent, and we are envied and respected around the world for that. If only we did what we are actually good at, we could win Eurovision EVERY year.
Graham, falkirk
utter cheese
brian gibbs brighton
i think its a great tune taking us back to the buck fizz days of eurovision i think we can win with this one. good luck scooch im behind you all the way brian xx
Faye, Coventry
Gotta say I love it!! It should definately win us Eurovision!! British cheesy pop is just what we need!!
Frizz
It is the best song, i want to upload it to my phone!! How?? It sooooo catchey and we should definately win Eurovision tjis year if we have those guys!!! Pure genious!! P.S. The dance moves were classic!!!!1
Paulie wakefield Newcastle

very catchy and camp a bit weird really but its what people from europe will most probably like especially the Germans! it should do well! ;-)
Alex Reid, Bristol
Would like to say its so bad its good but alas, its just bad.
Lea, Leeds
Oh my god... nil points springs to mind!!
Mark
A great mix of Aqua, Steps and Bucks Fizz. A great chance of winning after so long on the sidelines.
edna, newcastle
its really catchy, but mabye the other countries will laugh at our attemt to win but i really do like it!!!
Tasha, London
It's a tune that will stick in your head. They might even win this year!
laura england
i think the song is silly i think their just copying steps !!!
sally, berkshire
Surely we must be a able to produce something better than this drivel with all the musical talent we have in this country!!!!!
Hazel Ford
The real reason that this utter rubbish won MYMU is that 3/4 of the nation were looking at the Dancing on Ice Final and so forgot about MYMU. Just like last year, the worst song won. If the Beeb had the good sense not to schedule it on at a time when one of ITV's recent biggest hits is having its final, then we would be sending the likes of Big Brovaz or Cyndi to Helsinki. Yes, I DO GET Eurovision (answer for Macca from Midlands below). I've been a fan since 1979 and really love it. I don't love naff camp kitsch and anyone who enters songs as such are usually rewarded with a very low placing. It is only the Brits who don't take it seriously. We've had some really good classy pop as winners (Sertab 2002 and Helena 2005 to name just two)- this trash is just embarrassing! Will Scooch Airlines be dishing out sickbags for us all on 12 May - they will be needed!
kathryn in somerset
i luv it it is sooo cheesy that is is good. it is just wat this country needs to represent us and we have a good chance of coming higher up in the results maybe even a win. thank you scooch!!we r supportin u all da way!!xxxx
Craig, Hucknall, Nottingham UK
Well done Scooch! It reminds me of Steps in there song "Deeper shade of blue" also as cabin crew. If parts of europe can forget the far east wars in Iraq for one night, and i think it could be a fair song competition for all. The song may not sound all that great to some people, but if it did then it would not be Eurovision style and be poor match against those other Eurovision entrys. Good luck Scooch in Helsinki 12th May
Gary Devon
Not impressed... How can the UK expect to win with that song. Have you seen what the others have to offer? Thoght not!!!! Meany of them had there songs chosen before christmas. Then again the Brits never play the music of europe so how can they know what will make the make this time.
Megan, Maidenhead
GO SCOOCH! I think this might just be the act that can win eurovision for us!
Steph In Stoke on Trent!*
I Love This Song!! Its So Catchy And Its A Great Eurovision Song And Its No Way Embarrasing....We Might Just Have A Chance With This One!! =]
Marie, Broadstairs
We can sing anything at Eurovision. It would not make a difference whether it is a pop, rock or ballad why? Eurovision is political and due to our involvement in the WAR, the rest of Europe will give us Nil points not Twelve points. Eurovision needs are funding, they are not interested in the UK.
Dan, London
Ok, so it may not be the best song in the world ever (but have you heard the other entrants this year? - I only hold out hope for Norway, Denmark and Spain), but it is hilarious and has all the right ingredients to win (bright dress and memorable dance, easy lyrics, a concept all Europeans understand -flying-, it mentions a few European capitals -including Talin for the Eastern vote!- and it is unashamedly camp). I think it might just do the job! Go team UK!
Pete Jackson
How is it that the UK, Europes only proper exporter of music, submit rubbish like this?
Andy
Release it as a single now. x
terry west mids
The only airline related prop they didn't use in their routine was the sick bag, which is what I needed after watching the show!
Sally, Bradford
Brilliant, with best line ever! Perfect, doesn't take itself seriously, song for Eurovision. If we don't win with this, we might as well give up and leave the nepotistic voting countries to it.
kaley, north east
rubbish! why put cheese in every year, use something better to stray eurovision away from its stereotypical cheesyness, hawkins and brown should have won or big bruvas! scooch = another lose for the UK
sarah, cambridge
Absolutely Fabulous!!! My partner and I both just looked at each other after we heard it on MYMU and said "winner!!!". It's great - campy, catchy, euro-tastic! Just one thing - make sure you guys put on a great "show" of it - more dancers, flags, props etc!!! GOOD LUCK SCOOCH!!!!!
dave, bridlington
errr....its not about the songs anymore..its political voting.
lauren from nottingham
i think it is great!
95% Of the population
Utter drivel, senseless, camp, annoying, barbie pop. Should win then......
Katy Schofield, Gloucestershire, Nr Cirencester
I think it's fantastic, we won't win eurovision with it but it's definately a hit i'd buy it if it came out on CD
Paul, Sheffield
I think it is a fantastic song!! I can't stop singing it. Its our best song for years. The bit what goes:- "Bum bana bum banam, bana bun bana" is very catchy. It should challenge for a Top 5 position
Donna - Sheffield
The 2 entries that I least liked was Cyndi (just boring)and Scooch (for want of stronger words...NO..NO..NO..)the top 2 being Cyndi & Scooch and the winners being Scooch...WHY???? Please do not include me as the British public when referring to Scooch being the winning choice of the nation. It may be me that has strange/normal taste but Big Brovaz were by far the best for me. Anyway thank god for Terry Wogan
amy, sheffield
judging from the shortlisted entries i cant believe in the whole of the uk we cant find any decent singers, its as if we dont want to win.
Kerrie, Derbyshire
...No! I'm not a fan of tacky teen pop...Please don't let these represent UK.
toni cheshire
what a load of rubbish. its an embarrasment to british music
Anthony Blacker, Bristol
Absolute tripe. Looks "nil points" for the UK. Time the BBC stopped wasting the Licence Fee on this rubbish.
Andy, Chelmsford
DREADFUL,This is the worst song i've ever heard (if you could even call it a song).Anyone who thinks we could win with this is a loser already.....Eurovision is deadly serious and puts us on the map for British music. It's not a Beatles song put it that way!
Harold Lloyd
I watched the acts on Saturday, they were all rubbish, I didn't bother voting. Music with no value.

Harold Lloyd

Corrina Wiltshire, Carmarthen
What were you thinking people? The song would be just about bearable if it wasn't for the lovely little air hostess key lines running throughout the song. I love Eurovision for its daftness but really, this does take it a bit too far!
Mrs Buck’s Fizz
Scooch this just won't win, even is you riped each others clothes off, this song won't work. we need a U.K.lordi.
David UK
Why worry, it doesn't matter which song we enter we aren't going to win! Not enough Europeans like us!!
Yosef Bassiouni, London
Even though I wanted Cyndi to win I have to say this is the next best, it is very catchy and should still be in people's heads by the time they vote, it's one of those songs you can't get out of your head, GOOD LUCK SCOOCH! and good luck to Cyndi in what you do next ;-)
Samantha Brown
I think it is an absolute embarrasment! The song is rubbish and has no meaning what so ever. It would actuualy help if they could sing, but to be honest they sound like my cat and are far too cheesy!! We want Cyndi!
Paul, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham
The best entry we've had since Bucks Fizz. Let's hope it's a winner and then we'll all be flying our flags for England...
Jesper, Copenhagen
This is classic Eurovision - hope it wins. Way to go, brother Morten:-)
Lesley, Preston
It's a winner! Bring on the trolley dollies!!!!
Anne, Crosby
What a load of rubbish! It sounds like a Halifax advert!
Wombat
The sort of rubbish we have to put up with every year, I don't know why I bother watching, I think it's because I am a Wombat.
Neal Glasgow
God help us. Why was this allowed to win, it is the biggest load of drivel. I can sense nil points once again. I will not be watching this year.
Keith Hampshire
People have written, actually commenting on the songs winning potential! I fear they have missed the point. We in the UK are great piss takers and that is what this song does with shiny baubles on top. Who cares if we win or loose!!Great choice go for it!
Liz, London
Just listening to 10 seconds of it makes my ears bleed. I hope the rest of Europe will have some sense and not vote for it.
Paula, London
Oh dear!! Is this the best we have to offer? What an embarrassment.
Philip Thompson, Edinburgh
At last, a song that really captures 'Eurovision' and one that deserves to win. We'll do much better than we have in recent years and if we don't it's just down to politics. This is the best Eurovision song (from any country) since... ever!
Jodie Lonsdale Leeds
i think scooch have done sooo well to get this far and im not just saying this coz caroline is my couson i think there all great and the song is abit cheesy but last years winners was even cheesyer gud luck in helsinki xxx
fiona wilson / sunderland(north East)
the song sounds fun and catchy but it actually looks to faulse and more for the children. i still wanted brian harvey to go through because he is also more of a sex symbol
David, Teeside
I will make a prediction that this "cack" will be another Gemini and not score any points at all. Poor mans Steps that sounds like it was written by a half wit.
Linda Brennan, London
Love it!!.. Gimicky, Boy Girl Boy Girl, Catchy little tune... Just might do it for us.
Brendan Wiltshire
Its just embarrasing... complete drivel.
Macca, Midlands
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, some of you just don't get Eurovision do you! It's not The Brits, it's not te MOBOs and it's not the Ivor Novello's; Eurovision, as Rob Brydon would say is just a bit of fun. Yes Scooch is camp and kitsch and bubblegum pop... and that makes it all so perfectly aimed at the Eurovision market, at long last!! Let's get behind it and hope it gets douze points en Finlande!!
mandy Davis
its brill i just can not stop singing it. its so catchey its a winner
Peter Fellows, West Yorkshire
After seeing which song and style won last year it is obvious we have gon for the same type of thing. Oh my mistake, rock in weird outfits won last year and we have gone for cheesy Euro pop. Or to paraphrase Peter Kay, it's crap pop. Well, stanger things have happened. Could we at least have picked some attractive young people to form a pop act rather than the elderly (in pop terms) people we have selected. It's a good job we don't take this seriously
Frank, Bridgnorth, Shropshire
Absolutlely fantastic if it does't win it will be because of colusion with the others, you know ' if you scratch my back I'll scratch yours'
laura faversham
i think that this song is really catchey and i would like the songwords to this song i hope this song wins in the may eurovision GOOD LUCK SCOOCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
vikki UK
Its a good pop song that gets me and my mates dancing when we heard it. It puts us in a fun mood. Hopefully its good enough to make us top 10
Nathan, UK
Well done Scooch, you really deserved to win !
Jill, Brackley
Great! Typical Eurovision-type number. Hope Scooch do well.
chris Hastie-Crook county Durham
i think this song is really good and is better than last years "horrible song by daz" we have a better chance this year. come on you scooch make us proud!!!! flying the flag is fab!!
Shaun, England
Embarrased to be English.. 'Would you like a complimentary drink with your meal sir?' Get a grip.
Gandalf, The Shire
Complete tosh, painful to watch, cheesey beyond comprehension. Bravo! About time GB fronted at Eurovision with something competitive!
Michael Vince, Blyth, Northumberland.
pathetic.
Carly Ryan, Manchester
Go, Caroline, Go David, Co Natalie and go Russ! I know you could do it and good luck on Eurovision Song Contest 2007!
Rob, UK
This song is woeful. How it won on Saturday night is beyond me. Making Your Mind Up confirmed the UK's abysmal taste in music. I loathe heart-felt power ballads but compared to this Cyndi's song was a triumph and should have been chosen. Scooch must be a contender for nil point and deservedly so. Well done the UK for sending another dire song to Eurovision.
brett lancaster
we could do better but this is a ok song but we won't win with it
Vickie from Hampshire
I think this song is great it is funny and camp just what we need to get the votes to win the contest
Paul Giblin, Madrid
Oh dear: bland rubbish, it washes over you as if it wasn't really there. What is worrying is that the public actually voted for this load of rubbish...What has gone wrong with national taste?
lolo
this is awful. we will never win at this rate
Anna - Solihull UK
I knew you could do it Scooch! Well done! I loved you first time round and I'm so pleased to see you all back in the limelight! Good luck for May!
Alan Sinfin Derby
A surefire winner, the boys look great in those outfits! Good luck too you all!
Emma Emy And EL. UK
You are well abso awful, omg! its like so bad. what was with the brown haired man head? it looked like it was off its hindges. no offence but we have as much chance of winning the euro vision as a emo pig flying singing the national anthem. and no, i do not want to pull on your chord, and blow.
Alex, Leicester
What a tacky, awful, really camp song. IT'S BRILLIANT! I'll definitely suck on this before landing.
Laura, London
I think the song is not that great obviously, very catchy for all the wtong reasons, but I think it could actually win. Have you seen the kind of songs the rest of Europe put out and they always get votes no matter how rubbish they are! We do better songs and get no where so why not put a chessy song out there and do well!!! Not great for British pride but a win is a win at the end of the day!!
Rod, UK
The british public have'nt got a clue. What chance has a song got when it took four people to write it.
everyone in, wales
it sux!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jack Fingers, Glasgow
I'm prepared for Britain to get "nil ponts" again this year, as this song is utter rubbish.
trish
great song! i enjoyed it! entertaining and heart warming! all the best in helsinki!
simon exmouth
yup this is cheese. hurrah. lets be honest as long as they can sing in tune and have a great visual display.. come on england
Eleanor Maw - Sussex
Scooch can sing and dance well, but the song is very forgettable, they will go down like a led balloon, it would not surprise me if they got no points, this sort of music dose not represent what we listen to in the UK, they are no Bucks Fizz ether, sorry you have a turkey.
Richard
Tacky, pointless-pop pap, what an embarrassment to the uk music scene! Another year for 0 points for the UK.
Michelle-Louise Lewis from Brighton
From the best Song for Europe I have ever seen in my years of watching it (twenty-seven and counting!), out of six songs right from the very top drawer, our best entry for years and years. I really think we are going to do it in Helsinki. Come on Scootch!!!!!!!!!!
Hannah, Dorset
I think all the eurovision songs r cheesy but this one's ok. I lyked the big brothers or whatever they were called better
Pibo, London
Ha, ha, ha! This is so cheesy, so camp, so Eurovision. FAB !!
sue shoeburyness
a cheerfull and catchy song A camp spoof routine which relly enterains. Think uk have found a winner lets hope countries forget political voting and vote for the songs
David, Scotland
yeh now we,ve got a chance this is the kind of stuff that wins eurovision(don't know if thats a good thing but what the heck) come on ye scooooooooch!!!!!!!!!!!
sue coomber
last few years uk songs have been very ordinary. Scooh have come up with a cacthy song and and a brilliant routine I think U.K have a very good chance of winning. I am looking forward to seeing them preform again.
Irene North Wales
This is what Eurovision is all about. It will win!
Dave London
What's the point? The song is ok but owing to the incredibly stupid voting system it is now imposible for the UK 9and many other countries) to win !!!
Mark Devon
This song is a throw back to 'old eurovision' and should give us our best shot in years for victory!!!
sophie taunton
i think that that was the best thing ever it was so amazing and cyndy was absoloutly boring xxxxxx
Jo and Jess UK
This song is horrendous! When my frined showed it to me this morning, I received a curious urge to kill myself and to end the lives of many others. This kind of "music" (if that is what you call it) is repugnant, ear violating and is remeniscent of the wiggles and hi5. oh dear.
Jo, Manchester
My husband hasn't stopped singing it since Saturday night!
Chuck in Hawaii, USA
Great sounding tune, very fun & jumpy. Don't know if it will win the 'big' one but it's so great hearing Scooch singing together again. I wish them all the luck in May! Hopefully just the beginning of more great things from Scooch!
Harmony, Devon
it's rubbish, sounds like a cheesy Eurovision song :(
Daz Stokes
Well Done guys i knew youd do it! So proud to know you all.Daz xx
David, Oxfordshire
Absolute Shit. All involved should be ashamed of themselves
Andy, Northampton
Cheese and camp flying high for the UK in Eurovision. It's catchy, it certainly has plenty of gimmicks and it's well placed in the draw but it's not strong enough to pull in votes from all over Europe which Lordi managed last year. I think it will do reasonably well but it's not a winner - at least we'll have a bit of fun along the way!
Micky, Sunderland
Proper Cheese Fest, but i like!!!
Lez , Wales
At long last, a decent , catchy eurovision song , which has been missing from the competion for a long while. Good Luck Scooch, bring the title back for the uk
charlotte ,Wales
Its terible and a embarresment to the uk?
John Sharples
It's Catchy and Tacky and Bubbly and and Poppy. Just like Boom Bang a Band, Puppet on a string and Making your mind up. It lights up a dull world and I LOVE IT
Rick
What a bunch of talentless muppets!
Brian, Birmingham
Don't think a bit of "camp jingoism" will do it this year for us.
Alison, South Wales
How could the nation let such a cheesy pop-c**p song through - yet again we'll be the laughing stock of Europe. We are home to the best original rock and pop in the world, yet we insist on sending this type of "song" to reprsent us-have we learnt nothing, look at Lordi!!!! All I can say is Heaven help us.
eurovision results for uk entry
am i the only one who thought the announcement of the winning song for euro 07 was confusiong.. i thought wogan announced cindy as the winner after the long awaited pause. but it was in fact scooch who won.. normally it is the winner which is announced and not the runner up.. i thought a mistake had been made. too late now!
Jason (Wales)
Corny, camp and capable of corrupting our kids. Class act!... a credit to the UK and will do us proud in the eyes of Europe...NOT!! Hope it wins, just so we get to see them perform twice!
chanelle uk
it,s a great song and u won !!! god luck u the bst
michelle teeside
should have cyndi's song scooch's song is crap nil poit!
Donna Mosstodloch
what a load of old crap, have we no talent in this country people??
emma, lichfield
Fabulous fabulous eurovision song! Go for it guys!!!!!
Nicky Aberdeen
oooooooohhhhhhhhh i love it
linda lechlade glos
i canot belive that they have got trough even i voted for justin hawkins i think we will have no chance of winning and what is the world coming to they are crap and not very good the other contestant was better than scooch
jon manchester
not the best choice
Eleanor, Whitehaven
What a song! Scooch to win Eurovision, it's perfect for our country! Gets my vote, it's awesome =D x
Gemma, Scotland
Year by year we vote for a range of songs yet, we always lose! Why? Because every song we choose is second class!!Me and My class mates believe this is just like another kiddies pop song! It reminds me of the "fast food song"! We should look at lordi, they're rock songs are for a range of ages! Im begining to think we vote for the best act, like last years was a school this years a plane! We should be voting for the song that stands out as amazing n thinking, will other contries be bewildered by this? Big Brovaz and Hawkins n Brown should have been the 2 final choices. My vote went with Hawkins and Brown in the end tho! I hope we win but, i dont think we will with this. Next time we need a song which doesn't come from the kiddies section!!! or lets get a rock and put it on stage, it will generate more votes!!
Joanne Oldham
This Song Is Great I Think We Have A Good Chance Of Winning It Gets My Vote!!! Good Luck Scooch!!!
Marc Bristol
I Love it !
GAVIN (DJ GAV) UK
I can remember scooch from back in the day...When i first heard this track it did nothing for me,but now after hearing it over 5 times yes we can win this year.**C'MON SCOOCH BRING HOME FOR THE UK**
Margareta, Colchester
I have never heard anything so boring and kitsch. Can the UK never chose a song that is appealing to the rest of Europe? Is is embarrasing!!! Why bother to participate at all. Also, get rid of Terry Wogan, he has had his time at being rude and 'unfunny'. Thank you.
rachel, cheshire
They were dreadful, sounded and looked like steps, nothing original
howie somerset
This has got to be our best chance in years. Also well done to the two celebrity commentators whose opinions were musically relevant for a change. I was glad Jonathan Ross wasn't there making fun of it all. This is a serious business.
annie cornwall
brill.have got it into my head and been singing it all day..................love the dance routine..what a breath of fresh air...go for it.xxxxx
antony,wolves
OMG THIS I WHAT IT NEEDS A REALY FUUNY POP SONG WITH A WEIRED NAME WE HAVE DEFENETLY GOT A CHANCE TO WINN...
charlie
The song is great hope they win but Cyndi would have may be given us a few millon votes but i hope the younger gene vote for scooch
Euro
THIS IS WELL FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!?????????
L
i think we actually have a v.g chance of winning as its a cheesy catchy song that although some may think is bad is actually a winning number !!!
Shaun Scanlon, Potters Bar
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? First you let them on the show, then you screwed up the vote when you told us that Cyndi won. I thought you were taking this seriously? Obviously i was wrong. You need to get GOOD artists on like Snow Patrol or Mika. But no, instead you chose a washed up band. Congratulations BBC, you've done it again. Watch as we finish in the bottom 10 again.
Jacqui, East Sussex
At last, a song which represents what Eurovision is all about! It's boppy, it's poppy, it's cheesy, it's FUN. The Brits don't really take Eurovision seriously, the rest of Europe may do but we don't! Well done, Scooch, fly the flag in Finland, but above all just have fun.
Ian, Cheltenham
BBC please after this years terrible result and the embarrasment caused to the serious singers please go back to the 1 singer 6 songs format. At least we may be able to attract a good song and a serious performer. This is absolute drivel and the kind that gives ammo to those that hate the ESC.
Rich, Berks UK
The song is terrible. The Antiques Road Show theme tune would do much better.
Laura, Plymouth
I hate it! In my opinion it was the worst song up there. I hoped for Justin or Big Brovas to get through. at least they might get at least one vote!
bethan,manchester
i think that flying the flag is a really good and catchy song. i think it will win! GO SCOOCH!
lee - mansfield
words fail me, what must the rest of the world think of the british public for picking up their phones and spending money voting for this ***t. its incredible to think these people actually make a living sugjecting us to this sorry excuse for music. the exits are here here and here, i sugest you use them and never come back.

Their previous singles were brilliant...this isnt so good, but I think it paves the way for a eurovision win!
Daniel, Manchester
Eurovision 2008 will be in Britain. A proper eurovision song. Pete from Liverpool doesn't know the eurovision spirit
marie cheshire
Absoulute utter garbage
marie cheshire

Anna, Norfolk.
Its the type of song that sticks in your head all day!! I quite liked it! I especially liked Russ in Boys will be girls, that was good!! I thought I recognised him from somewhere!!
Andrew Clarke, Derbyshire
(Also commented on Cyndi's, if you don't know what I mean) God it's the fast food rockers! This song is so embarassing, god help UK. Last year I thought finally we're going back up the board with the decent song but no, the winning song is another chance for Europe to make a mockery of us. Ladies and gentlemen, expect another "nul points" pour Royaume-Uni! (And no, the Andrew Clarke from Cornwall below isn't me, even though incredibly strange coincidence, I used to live 3 miles away from him, small world eh?)
nicola simonds
yet again the uk plan to make fools of us at this years eurovision. The song is cheesy pop rubish .they look like a bad "steps" tribute band. dire dire dire nil points
Hannah - Scotland
I think its soooooooo kl i love the song x x x x
carmelo, Spain
It's a great song
Paul - Bath
It makes me want to bash my tounge with a mallet and then stick a croquet hoop through it. Total drivel.
lucy drew
it was great and wins everythin as it is great britain. great britain is cool.
Johnny, Scotland
Awful. Just awful. Looking forward to recieving no votes again in May
Ben and Ginny,Cornwall
Scooch is the most refreshing entry for great britain since Katrina and the Waves they are the new age Bucks Fizz .Good luck to them and us.
matthew west sussex
im so glad that scooch have won the united kingdom votes and i hope they do really well in finland but i really wanted big brovaz to win but never mind good luck SCOOCH!!!!
Claire, UK
This song is not for real. Does talent not mean anything anymore?
Richard, Birimingham
I get quite concerned at what our European neighbours think of us as a nation when we vote for acts like this for our representation at the ESC. I know it's a bit of fun, and I LOVE Eurovision and 'nil points', but I think Britain has much better musicians than Scootch (sorry guys!). PS. I still hope we win this year!
Andrew James
I think it is fantastic and is sure to be a winner. It has got enough camp and pop to bring it home. Good luck xx
Andrew James
I think that it is fanastic and is sure to be a winner it's got enough camp and pop to bring it home.
Mick, Staines Middlesex
Good luck scooch, No matter what we enter we wont get many votes as they all hate us in europe.
Anjay Glasgow
Good luck at the Eurovision Scooch, im just glad you guys are back together :) well done !!!
Andrew, Oxford
Utter rubbish. Reminds me of an episode of Flying High {"Biff baff boff I want to have it off"} which at least really was funny. Fathers Ted & Dougall singing "My lovely horse" is much better.
cathyann halford barnsley
it,s a great pop song it put a smile on my face better then wot we have ad in the past few yrs like jordon lol
victoria.essex
the best thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jas
mint song hope they win!
ella brighton
its amazing fun and enjoyable . reallt made me get up and start dancing
Katie- Harrogate
To be honest, this isnt a winning song. Its rubbish. Im sorry but it is. Its like that Gemini. Haha!
A angry eurovision fan
I believe this song to be a nationalist anthem full of sexual innuendo, no I would not like something to 'suck on for langind' and having a 'pleasurable ride' Eurovision is ruined by crap like this! - Nil points here we come!
mb york
pure eurovision magic! cheesy tacky bucks fizzy!!! perfect good luck!
Hmmm...Clifton
Songs Bad
Gill CLIFTON, Devon
Fantastic
Rachel, London
We've lost already. Scooch are rubbish.
Carol Mears
I love this song, its catchy & I could not stop singing it even when the show was well over. Its the type of song that one can remember the words to very quickly. I like the way the song reflects on flying, & the quirky little bits to do with it. Thankyou very much Scooch I hope we win yeah.
William Heath-Barrington - England
Weak, insipid drivel - act and song - instantly forgettable. The voting system was a secretive mess. The best song came second.
stewart from greenock
im afraid its another nil points this year the song is total garbage and embarasing
joyce west mids
what a load of rubbish no wonder phone ins are under investigation
MANDY, NEWCASTLE
I THINK THE SONG IS FAB, JUST WAT WE NEED, UP TEMPO AND FUN,,,,,,,,, GUD LUCK SCOOCH, THUMBS UP
Michelle from Sunderland Aged 14
I love Flying The Flag (For You) its a really really fab song.So i say hello to every one in Scooch.
Kevin - age 52 - up in Scotland
Well, what can I say. Very Eurovision but showing the British flag at the end was a big mistake. All I could see was Tony Blair's face and the blood and guts in Iraq. Better remove the flag if you want to win !
Ellen UK
That is just a more rubbish even more tackier version of we are going to ibeza
TJ, Kent
This reminds me too much of the fast food rockers - its the sort of song you hear at a 5 year olds party! so tacky! Wheres all the great British talent? And why must old has been stars try to make there comback by representing there country?
Michael, Norwich UK
Fantastic pop song, should do well in Eurovision. Let's be honest here, the song is camp, but so is Eurovision. The song is Eurodance music, hence EUROvision, so many European countries with be familiar with this style of music. Because the UK has a dried up pop music market, soesn't mean the rest of Europe has. Way to go Scooch! Bring Eurovision and pop music back to the UK!
Stephen - Hong Kong
It's a great song and a fantastic performance - that's why it deserves to win! Great job Scooch, and keep up the good work!!!
Ben Saunders UK
I thought we had seen the last of Scooch an I was hoping Natalie's solo career would have taken off, but hay we get them back for Eurovision. Music has changed a lot since Scooch were last in the charts, it seems that pop music has gone which is a shame, hopefull it will return soon. But good luck to Scooch, this is cheesy Euro trash music, so we should be getting reasonable points when you take into concideration half od Europe wont give us good points because of the War and they all vote for their neighbours. So I doubt we will be in the top ten, but we will get more than Nil points! Looknig through the comments "Another Steps band" - Sorry they were out at the same time as Steps, the kind of cheaper alternative, but Scooch had harder dance routines to learn. I've seen Scooch perform live several times and they CAN sing which is more than our selection from a few years ago....
Chick Forrest / Whitstable/Kent
AB/FAB JUST 100% OVER THE TOP A REAL WINNER.NEVER HEARD OF SCOOCH BEFORE BUT WHAT A SHOW !! GOOD LUCK IN MAY.
David United Kingdom
Vile, just vile. Shame on the GB public for voting this drivel in over the fantastic Cyndi.
andrea+joan coulthard,sunderland
fun, exciting, cheeky, classy absolutely fantastic!!! well done scooch!!!
Roger, Exeter
Similar style to last year's entry, Teenage Life by Daz, which came 19th. I'm not sure that "flying the flag" is a good idea for Britain in today's international political climate, what with the war and Trident. But it's Eurovision, so who can tell?! That's the beauty of it.
Richard, Crayford
Oh Oh - nil points again for the Royame-Uni
abbie - pocklington
i think this song iz amazing its really cool and upbeat i think we could go all the way to the top and win with this song this year its really big bold brill and cheesy just what we need!! abi x
Frank, UK
This reminds me of when air steward Sebastian (Alan Cummings) enters the "Song for Europe" contest in the "The High Life" with Pif paf pof, My heart goes pif paf pof... CLASSIC!
Helen ,England
arggg!! i hate it so chesssyyy why have one like last year when we lost ! i wish that girl won she had an amazing voice. These look like there in the 40s trying to be young!!!!!!!!And If we lose again well all know why !!
christiane,hereford
well done to scooch, they are very good, hope they won, well done again
Georgia, Cwmbran
i think scooch is copying lordi if so they have a change of winning. i love this song its very catchy. Brill song cant wait till the 12 of may!
rob wales
O Im going to barbados back to the palm trees Typically Tropical oops wrong song, one for sorrow, sorry steps wrong again can't seam to get the same song !!!!! type of song out of my head o sorry kyle i got it" they all sound the same. But it might win hopefully?? Eurovision better than all the Euro rock rubbish and shreeking"" from far east best of luck you will need it
cherelle newcastle
i think its different and a good song
Corrie, London
Noooooooo! Why bring pop BACK to eurovision when there was a perfectly good reason for it disappearing in the first place. Eurovision needs to be fresh-and-pacy not retro-and-cheesy. Smooch? Oh the shame :-(
Lee Manchester UK
Fantastic song and funny dance routine. Good Luck. Its going to be played to death all over!!. However Eurovision is all political so I doubt that it will score many points.
mandy from uk
i think is a good song and good luck at eurovision win for uk xxxxx
shereen
i think that flying the flag for you is brilliant and scooch are so cool and they are sure to win. GO SCOOCH DO IT FOR THE UK.
Til, Manchester
It could be worse, we could've entered a couple of tone deaf Scousers again.........
Caz Lane, Staffordshire
What are the public thinking? Flying the flag (for you) is almost identical to old Steps songs.Cyndi was fab!Apparently the presenter read out the wrong name-what is up with that?To bring credit to Scooch, they are trying to bring pop back, but to be honest,it's gone forever.I doubt we'll get far in Eurovision, but at least the song is a comedy one.
Theresa Kellenberger Lugano, Switzerland
I think its a WINNER. Well done Scooch performed well, would like to see RED WHITE AND BLUE OUTFIT!!
Ian & Debs, Staffordshire
Appalling Euro-pap . . . so it'll probably win!
carol griffin Peterborough
Absolutely fantastic, just what we need to win Eurovision cool record great cheesy pop song that we will all be singing too.The best.
jordan mexborough
tht song is ace lyk were flyin the flag 4 u is wat eurovision needs
John, Barnsley
A fan of Scooch, from the very beginning, I have all their CDs and album. I thought it a real shame when they split because they looked ready to be Pop's obvious replacement when Steps split up. It's great to see they've reformed for Eurovision and I hope it's the re-start of what promised to be their original career in music.
Scott, Leeds
I think its stupid, why do we have rubbish bands, maufactured to say the least who will have no chance of even winning the contest. Justin Hawkins was our only hope and the bigwigs who know nothing about popular music and indeed the lifestyles and musical tastes of the people, chose a UNpop band.
Paul, Sunderland
This could possibly be the worst song ever! It is cheesy, camp and ever so Eurovision! We are going to WIN for sure! I will be flying the flag along with them, and good luck to the four of you! Douze points Grande Bretagne!!!
maragaret blackpool lancashire
an absoulutely fantastic song. destined to win.
Stephen Williamson. London
This is a good Euro pop song and should win it for the UK.
Erica, London
It's an awful song, but it's very Eurovision!
Steve Worcester
The continentals will love scooch I reckon we could win finally.Have you heard the other songs!Ours is with out a doubt the best.
Edwin, England
I don't like this song at all. It shows a stereotypical Eurovision song from the 90s. So I think we should have went with something more up to date. Even if it is depressing.
Alice, Bedford, UK
This is rubbish! Big Brovaz were better, in my opinion. Heck, Justin Hawkins was better!
xta uk
brilliant cheesy euro pop song. this is waht we need for eurovison becasue its cheesy. we dont neeed ballads ther boring. we need sumthing to dance to and i think we have a good chance. GOOD LUCK SCOOCH!!!!
angel doncaster
The song is fun, fresh and funky a total stark contrast to last years entry. This song is eurovision at its best
Laurent, St Neots
One word: Excruciating. Has nobody else noticed that music has (thankfully) moved on sice 1990?
twinkle-toes uk
it doesnt matter how gr8 our song is we never win. I do like the song myself but we won win.
Tallulah Bluelove, London
Stop slating it! atleast it's probably not going to get ABSOLUTLY ZERO votes. which is something that has become a little to familiar. It's camp and it's a laugh!
charlie, surrey
this song is so sad i feel sorry for scooch for looking so stpuid!! SHAME ON YOU!!!
Steve - Newcastle
I think we should do an Xfactor type quest to find a new song and act every year! We keep coming out with rubbish like this, who chooses these people in the first place? Honestly, There are lots of good unsigned acts out there who would do us proud, the BBC should get out there and listen more, get in touch with small record labels who have hits on itunes etc.
Spiko, Spain (Valencia)
The song is very well, but now in Eurovisión you have that to mount a great putting in scene or choreography to be able to be between the best ones! Good Luck and to win!! (I like more this song than the Spanish)
Shannon, Liverpool
GENIUS
James, Southampton
Isn't it just the passenger safety video you see on British Airways set to music?
Jamie Taylor, Fife, Scotland
I think Scooch have brought along the tools to succeed in the eurovision song contest 2007. The group are well polished and good looking and deliver the great song in a very tightly rehearsed performance. Wow i think scooch will be around for quite some time as this performance and song show just what theyre capable of. They are a great band and shall prove a force to be reckoned with this year they certainly have reformed and come back with a bang. Good luck guys i will be on the edge of my seat waiting for all those lovely 12 points to come our way x.
Rory, Newcastle
It's beautiful in the sense that because we blatently won't win now, we won't have to fork out millions to host it next year. Nice one Scooch.
lesc staffordshire
Is the country going mad. Scooch were embarrassingly tacky the singing was awful but then again we did not have very much to choose from did we!!!
Nathan, UK
It's a great song and should win MYMU 07 and hopefully get us a top 10 spot in May! Good Luck Scooch !
Ruud Netherlands
This is a real song for eurovision, bring it to Finland! There is enough rock and bla bla bla this year already, this will bring a smile to every one and wil still be remembered 20 years from now. It has that thing to it that you can say at once, he thats eurivision......

Peter, Liverpool
A pizza hut, a pizza hut, Kentucky fried chicken and a, oh sorry wrong song. Pure drivel, I would be ashamed of this. Vote Hawkins and Brown!!
Steve
The UK is one of the biggest nations in the world in exporting good, quality, credible music and yet when it comes to Eurovision we always let the standard slip, in some cases dramatically, why? Why is it year in and year out we enter second class songs? Not even Gina G could make a decent attempt at a come back afer the hugely successful "Ooh Ahh Just A Little Bit". Put me in charge of selecting the UK entry and I'll make sure only the best get through. The song might not do well but at least we can say it's other factors conrtibuting to it rather than another poor song.
Ned, Wales
Why not enter a metal post, it has more of a chance than this song!
Teresa Chappell
Gets my Vote

This is just what Eurovision needs go Scooch, god help my phone bill on Saturday!!
Sarah Smith, London
My goodness, what a load of s***! In response to Gelan Swift's comment, I think this song only took three minutes!
Andrew Clarke, Cawsand, Cornwall
sub-Steps schlock

Mario, Liverpool
I think Scooch can win it for the UK, because it isnt taken itself so seriously, the remark from Kelvin in Brighton saying the other countries take pride, come on, you not been watching Eurovision, the rest of europe come out with camp trash which is eurovision, its fun!! England need to stop being so serious and make a record as fun as the likes of Gina G or Sonia!! Scooch too win!!!
rob - preston
hmmmmmm - tacky but VERY foot-tappable!! think we aint got a chance in europe to be honest will def be watching for neighbourly voting again - as "seems" to happen every year
shona morrison, aberdeenshire
i think we should let this song go threw to represnt us as the songs in the past have been slow ballads and i feel we need something with a more be bop beat cmon scooch am voting for you xx
Gelan Swift, London
Weak, weak, weak. I could write a better song in five minutes. How do these non songwriters get selected?
kelvin brighton
Scooch is the better song, but still not a winner im afraid. When are we going to do something original? All the talent in this country and we end up with songs like these? Seems we view eurovision as something very sad and embarassing in uk, whereas rest of europe embrace it with the passion it deserves.
Jonny - London
Now this is what makes Eurovision the wonderful spectacle that we've all grown to love! Go Scooch, you fly that flag!
scott/ london
makes jemini sound like the beatles. oh dear i've listened to all 6 entries and lordi lordi le royaume uni will be lucky to pick up a single vote whoever gets the nod... (we'd get 12 from gibraltar...shame they ain't in it)
Matthew, London
Britney Spears with her new look is better than this!
Joanna, Peterborough
It's rather classic Eurovision. I'd say it's a winner, but trust Britain to produce a real winner for the first time in ten years and then for it to flop because Europe's finally got good music taste. You never know though...
Darren, Germany
Weak, repetitive nonsense that would barely score if representing a Balkan country. They're all miles too old for this sort of thing. Perhaps they should change their name to Scoop and then scoop this poop into the bin!
AURIEL RACHAEL N SARA SOUTH SHIELDS
WELL I THINK ITS REALY GOOD. TERRY WOGAN JUST HAS TO MAKE THOSE COMMENTS HE CANT HELP IT. THIS IS A SONG THAT STANDS A CHANCE.
Paula, Leeds
Very typical Eurovision - will probably win! But of the six songs entered, this is the bottom of my list.
Mark and Jon, Hull
Omg, fantastic: used to love Scooch loads! The album were great :)
silverships27
I had to listen to it three times to make sure my ears weren't decieving me..some of the lyrics are REALLY suggestive!! What a hoot! This song won't change the universe and make it a better place but it IS instant, memorable and you end up singing it (EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T WANT TO!!!)..Could be difficult to produce same sound live..The in-flight announcements will never be the same again!
trev ,preston lancs
how good is this song, cannot wait to hear all of the song tho! without a doubt the only chance of uk winning .vote vote vote 17th march
Robert G, Merton
I think this out of all of the entries, has the best chance of winning the Eurovision Song Contest.
James, Gatwick
Finally cheese is back. This is what eurovision needs and most of its supporters want. Fly the Flag with pride!
Harry
How sad...
Jason D'Arcy, Bristol
Camp as Christmas, the best song by far. VOTE SCOOCH! ;)
Stephan D. Munich Germany
Scooch is the best one, but Britain has no chance like Germany - because the neighbours of eastern europe for themselves and the north scandinavia also give themselves the points - that's a pitty but true - forget the songcontest
Eric James, London
Oh, my god. Big Scooch fan here. Have you seen they've got an interview with Russ on www.theboyzblog.com. I can't believe it! And they've got Brian Harvey coming up.
Nicholas Willmott, Bath
Quite frankly, I think this is the best of the six. The only half hopeful contender for this year. A catchy ABBA-esque entry, a very Eurovision entry. Given the right placing in Eurovision, this could attract plenty of votes. I wish I could hear the whole thing to make up my mind. Our entry must be either this or "I'll Leave My Heart" by Cyndi, and of the two, I'm more swayed toward Scooch.
Michael Australia
All I can say is about time... POP is back! I'm sick of all the dribble on the charts at the moment... I say we even bombard PWL and get them to consider taking Scooch on! Me and my puppets (www.thedoogles.com) say BRING IT ON SCOOCH! Put an end to current crap on the charts! POP IS BACK!
John Evans, Middlesbrough
no not these they wont win one point ive never herd of them and they sound like steps. sorry but this song wouldnt stand a chance in eurovision.
Y-X-W, Chester
This is shameful for eurovision, for british music, and music in general. If the likes of Spice Girls can't pull this off anymore, wot makes ppl think that Scooch can?! - It's Gemini all over again. It's a cheap cheesy rip of Kylie's track 'Light Years' wiv an extra sprinkle of camp. Please don't embarrass the UK anymore ppl!!
Y-X-W, Chester

Craig, Dunfermline Scotland
geeez....and to think i was getting my hopes up. the uk's problem is that we dont take eurovision seriously !!!!!!!
DAVE HOCKRIDGE CHICHESTER
A CATCHY DITTY AND EASILY OUR BEST CHANCE SINCE NICKI FRENCH. HATE TO SAY IT THOUGH IF NICKI CANNOT DO IT, I DONT THINK THERE IS MUCH HOPE. YOU NEVER KNOW THOUGH, NATALIE HAS A GREAT VOICE.

Ally, Scotland, UK
At last... some euro pop for eurovision! Come on guys bring that title home!
mand, essex,
this song rocks, and they deserve to go through to the final, they will do much better in the final unlike the last few uk entrys, its nice to see scooch back in the music biz
Tony, Welwyn Garden City
Not sure what to make of this! Very gimmicky, but that's about it.
David - Middlesborough
Great Song. I will be pulling for them to win the MYMU show, then it will be on to the ESC. Go Scooch
Alasdair, Glasgow
The song is DIRE!! Totally awful and would have failed at Eurovision WAY back in the 80's! Its dated, tragic and just not what the UK needs to get a great place!! Get with it, and send Big Brovaz or Hawkins and Brown!! This isint what Eurovision is about anymore!!!
Adam C, from Exeter
I hate to say it but that Darkness thing is going to win MYMU. I listened to Scooch's song fully last night and have to say it is PURE Eurovision.... if Scooch go through and to the contest and sing well we have a chance... if Justin Hawkins goes through it will be null point all the way
Paul from Barry, S. Wales
Go Scooch, it's kitsch, CAMP and totally Eurovision!!! Let's hope they can deliver a good show to go with the song!
Joe T
Very bad song, pointless theme also, sorry.
Andy kent
have loved scooch since they started and i really think this song suits eurovision to a t. good luck i will be voting

Have followed scooch from way back, we had them on at the club i work at 7 years ago and this track is fantastic a mega return good luck Scooch.
lindsay doncaster
i think its brilliant the kind of song that could definately win it for us its catchy with a fun side to it, WE LOVE IT XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Stephen, Redcar
sound gd, cheesy pop at its best! i think everyone should support them as everything is too indie nowadays, also i did the hnd with david and he's lovely lol!!!! best if luck guys
Claire, Glasgow!
deffo the best song outta them all!! I love it, GO Scooch!! xx
richard lincolnshire
this sounds like the fast food rockers'in fact they look like them' is too cheesy even for eurovision anyone want fries with that?
Ben Knowles / London
'We decided to do it because we felt it was our job to bring Eurovision back to its former glory.' -Ha, More like, our so-called 'careers' are fading SUPER-FAST. Awful song, awful 2nd rate steps tribute. No chance!
gpa/osaka
Great comeback! I love this song!!
Kevin Clarkson, north ayrshire
jesus out all the songs this is the only song to get me going go to www.myspace.com/scoochworld to hear the whole song!!! flying the flag for the uk!!!!! (not for us). this is what eurovision means to uk cheesy cheesy cheesy with good look people!!!!!!
Geoff - Birmingham
It's an amazing track: best we've has since Jessica Garlick - if it wins on March 17 it must have a good chance of getting us out of the Euro-Doldrums?
Lars/Cologne
Great! This gets 12 points from germany, but Im afraid that this song will win the UK Show...
celendo,paris
Thisis definitly he one for england good luck the others dont stand a chance
Sparkle, Chester
I love Scooch and was desperate to hear the full length version. However, I'm a bit disappointed to be honest...they can do much better than this. Natalie Powers (the brunette) has an amazing voice, which is thoroughly wasted on this effort. As a fan, I'd be well chuffed to see them in Helsinki. As a Brit, I'd be a bit embarrassed!
eva, greece
the brits have goota get to grips with cheesy, good quality never wins. send something like the birdy song an its a winner, this is your best bet.
Simbo
SCOOCH!!!!! FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS HOPE THEY GO TO HELSINKI!!!!!
john in surbiton
Oh dear. To defeat any of the well known singers you have to have a good song but this is just tripe it kinda makes you think of jemini and we all know what happened to them....
ryan / manchester
no no no no no no no no no
Simon, York
i like it :D i was expecting more rock songs this year tho due to the excellent Lordi winning last time :)
LG Canada
Scooch are PERFECT for Eurovision - out and out unashamed fun pop. Let's hope the British public don't make the same mistake they have in recent years by going for something more 'serious' or 'credible'. Scooch could go all the way, and bring the annual cheesefest back to the UK! Good luck guys.
Simon, LONDON
Abhsolutely FANTASTIC! Pick this and we're sure to win.....or get a lot closer than we have in previous years!!! GO SCOOCH!!!
Devyn.south shields
That FAKE Terry wogan guy who wrote the comment is so WRONG they are soooooo gonna win definitly my vote. The man in the red is my uncle too,
JC, London
No europe will not like it. What do they think they look like. Forget that....what do they think they sound like. Its is absolute first class drivel. Woolworths bargain bin would not bother stocking it. NO NO NO. Yes Europeans may not have the best taste in music, but they are not deaf. Remeber also about singing live.... I would put money on this group of muppets not being too hot at that either.
Alberto, Andalucia, Spain
Non descript cheese. Won't get far.
Bobby Svensson, Hampshire
Hey, this is pure pop which has to equal pur Eurovision. This song with the right stage show has to be a MYMU winner and a top 10 at the final in Finland! One suggestion..... when singing flying the flag, you should have 2 muscle men in tight red glittery hot pants, one with a Union Flag the other with a EU flag... people on mainland Europe will love it!
Sharky - Wellingborough
Can't believe it. Finally a typical Eurovision entry that usually does pretty well. This has to win. I've been singing it for days. Song will not leave my head. I can bearly remember any of the others, once I've listed to them.
Richard - Dagenham
Wow! what a tune.
Greg Australia
Very catchy song but obviously "Flying The Flag" doesnt have the same meaning in the UK as it does here in Australia
Alec - London
OK Boom bang a box a la steps! Yes it's cheeky, lots of British Innuendo the song has that cheesy slarger song, No please not this one fun as it is!
Mike UK
I like cheesey pop music but this is going way too far. I see another Jemini moment coming
Daniel Guildford
This is what Eurovision is all about, every country that loves pop will love Scooch, they are a sure fire way to get us some decent points this year!
Andy - Winchester
I LOVE Scooch! Always did. I love this song - t's great to have the camp foursome back!
merlin/ berlin

Dave and Martin London
they should have been left where they were in the bottom of every recod stores bargain bin!! its so un believably awfull it will win
JERRY , AMSTERDAM ( THE NETHERLANDS)
Yes, finally the sound of Steps, Chipz, H & Claire, Six, SClub or The FastFood rockers ! ! I really love that "cheezy" sound, and I think the rest of Europe too. As I said before : Finally this kind of music is in your National Final, so please ; UK VOTE FOR THIS, IT WILL GIVE THE UK AT LEAST A TOP TEN PLACE ON THE 12TH OF MAY ! ! ! !
Owen, Leeds
love it! its horrific but its a sure winner..the rest are rubbish
Andrew, Denmark.
Everything rubbish, to be a winner!
Lisa, Hertfordshire
The Europeans will love it, as do I...total cheese, so catchy....success for the UK this year for sure, it's got to be Scooch!!
richard london
even tho this kinda song doesnt win euro anymoe...its got a good chance of being selectd for eurovision..the fans will like this for sure..best chance for the fun of it, but suely its on the song,,and the darness singer has great vocal..
Hinge & Bracket, Sittingbourne
Great song. Got my vote. Good to have them back again and looking great.
:S
It's like they're saying : "Let us win the British heats, and we'll win the euros for you." Erm, no.
Chris from Luton
Good old Euro-pop you can't beat it...and with a good dance routine should do well. But none of the entries can match the Greek entry...votes are cast on the quality of the song and not the fame of the performer. I can see it now Cyprus gives Greece 12 points.
James, Milton Keynes
It's Eurovision through and through - brilliant - definitely should be the UK's choice, can't get the tune out of my head... aaaagh!!!
HSG Waterlooville, Hampshire.
More Than I Needed to Know...was perfection, redo it for Eurovision.Flying the Flag will stand up though.
Andrew Birmingham
A potential Eurovision Winner
paul - manchester
fab fab fab
Emily - Bournemouth
Haha ... Love Them !!! I Remember Them when i was about 7 Years Old and i even have their song -More Than I Need To Know- On My Ipod ... I'm sooo kool ! I was even lucky enough to be in the Pantomine (Cinderalla) with Russ about 5 or 6 years ago in Poole ... So i will deffinatley be rooting for them to win !! :P
Sarah, Bristol
Loved them before and loving them now. This has made my week! This is pure Eurovision.
Daz Redditch
Scooch youve the best song! A big fan! Good luck guys xx
Peter, Cornwall
I know its poppy and to me its Venga Boys meet Abba. I absolutely love, its my favourite. It won't win though, its not quite the thing that we are looking for!
Tomi, Bath
Scooch HAVE TO WIN!! I can't believe they're back! Go Scooch!!!
Ron Norfolk
This sounds like it has a better chance than the other uk wannabes
craig bradford
love this song its going to win ......
Fründin, Hemmenthal bi Schaffhuuse
12 points from Switzerland North
Steve Brit Abroad
Oh dear - Flying the flag? It's as if the BBC is hoping for a win so they can change "Making Your Mind Up" to Flying the Flag. None of the brief excepts of the songs appeal. My money is so far on Romania or Switzerland or God help us all Belarus winning. UK bottom 5 yet again
Tom, Sunderland
OMG how catchy is the song?!? Loving the cabin crew uniforms!!! :D
Stephen, London
This track is 10 years out of date Eurovisio-wise and it would be a disaster if we sent this.
Johanna McDonald, London
I used to have a loo covered in Scooch wallpaper and knew their dance routines by heart! Go Scooch!
Alex, London
They are fantastic, I hope they win, I want to buy the single when it is released - Go Scooch!!!
Rebecca Hopkins, London
They may be cheesy, but thats what this country needs! Go Scooch!
Jane Piper, London
Wow, Caroline is my idol, they so have my vote!
Danielle Fendt, London
I sooooo want them to win, its my favourite song EVER!!! Go Caroline!
Jonny, Oxford
It is kinda catchy.. but only after a few listens. You will only hear it in full once on the night and then a short 10 second clip.. so i doubt it is infectious enough to get people to vote for it.
Lorri, London
Gorgeous! thank GOD they're back!!!!!! This is what the Eurovision is all about!!!! Come on Scooch. Don't knock 'em, have you heard 'Four Sure'? everyone a winner! Pop gold!!!
David Walsall
its another winner for the uk
Polly, Surrey
Great Up beat fun song, perfect for eurovision, i'll definitely be voting SCOOCH
Sven Germany

Jo, lancs
its got Gemini written all over it!
Ivan from Malta

Daz Stokes
Im a big Scooch fan, well i would be, me and David were Redcoats together 11 Years ago,i love the song, the next Bucks Fizz maybe?
barber - manchester
i actually turn it off and returned to write this, a good contender, cheesey, sooooooo bad, and i can imagine the dance routine. Fantastic, not a winner though but in the top ten
derek, glasgow
like this song just what we need to send something with a bit of visual could do really well in finland if it gets picked
gena
i hate myself for saying this but i actually think this would do really well at eurovision this year because listening to most of the other countries songs it sounds like nothing else, weve had ethnic and rock songs win so maybe its time to go back to cheesy pop
Greg, Tallinn (Estonia)
Dear oh dear. You've only got to recall Gina G's hugely successful Eurovision 'comeback' of 2005 to see that Scooch haven't got a hope in hell. Seriously bad.
Jason, East Yorks
I absolutely love it, Its really catchy and stands out above all the other tracks! All hail the return of Scooch!!!!
Simon N Ireland
Maybe it's high time we sent something like this to Eurovision?? We've tried everything else!!
Greg, Somerset
Thank god - one decent song in MYMU this year...
Rob London
Let the fondu cheese fest begin. Dreadful but I've danced to worse in a German disco before now.
Jonathan, Nottingham
Cheesy, throwaway lyrics, glittzy, cheap schlager - an absolutely perfect eurovision song, a definate winner!
John, London
Perfect for eurovision! Thats what its all about! The others arn't cheesey enough! Some of you are a bit deluded about what eurovision is all about!!!

jennylousekenchington

I love it. End of.
Daddy's Naughty Little Girl, The Moon
Wow, they gave up their lucrative careers on late night quiz call-in TV shows to reform just for us! Vote for Scooch!!
daniel, scotland
Definitely Eurovision!!!
Karen/Leeds
This suits the Euro' to a Tee!!!!!!!!!!!
Yasmine, South Shields
Fab!! I love it. easily the winner!!
Dave, Glasgow
Total tripe!!
Shane Hamblin, Salisbury
This is pure and utter cheese! Scooch would just be another Jemini and we don't need that. Go for something different, Big Brovaz, Liz or Hawkins & Brown.
gary in edinburgh
not so sure i like it second time around. a bit cheesy, but scooch are still good
Phil, London
We are back to the early 80's. Too dated and the group are too old to have any credability. We would be a laughing stock if we send this to Finland.
Eurosong07
I'm lost for words. What is this? Where did it come from? Will be intresting to see what the performance is like...
Louise, Ford
fter hearing thsi, WOW! I thought they had split! Well, anyway, Im glad they r back together! They Rox! They should Win! Sorry Liz, But they are better! I'll be happy If either Liz or Scooch win!
Paul, Birmingham
OH MY GOD, its been like 7 years since you clicked on the Schoodle to enter the scooch garden. You need to update your website or get a NEW ONE ! Cheese is the name and cheese s the game !, scooch have got a good song here. Will spend my overdraft texting the voting lines for sure , be bum , the best is yet to come , de dum
Graham, Borehamwood
The title and lyrics are to corny. No way near as good as their other stuff
gert, Belgium
sorry 3/10
Cheesy pop
It's got funny outfits, poppy beats and silly lyrics - this has just got to represent the UK.
Efan - Newcastle
Scooch to win MYMU!!! It is everything a Eurovision song should be - Cheesy, camp, Just look at those Trolley Dolly outfits, and after Lordi (Oh Lordi, Lordi why why?!?!) I think it's the perfect antidote!
Charlie
ive never even heard of these people.... Go big brovaz!!!
Mark, Brighton
From 30 second snippets this is the most immediate - but need the full versions and visuals to make a real decision... How about Videos, BBC?
Alan - hampshire
Not much to choose from again - all BAD but this is the most catchy........ why can't we get it right> - shame on those who selcet the songs - MUST DO BETTER!!!
Craig Skegness
Love it the UK can do well at Eurovision if it enters with something that vaguely represents what is goin on in the rest of Europe. We love Cheese
londonderry
fab song hope it gets through could be a winner
Kim
The one that is the most Eurovisiony - doesn't stand a chance though
Gary, Manchester
Grrr I Want This Song Now, I Keep Listening To It, Its Pure Cheesey But I Love It... x
Martin Cheltenham
I thought they had died ???? This is sooo bad.
Gary, Manchester
Gotta Be Scooch all the way!!!
Eurosong07
A very cheap schlager....no substance.
Damian
They are still together??
Keren, Dorset
This is the one! None of the others stand a chance of winning.
Anthony, Oxford
I really, really hate it - it must stand a great chance.
sharon,west midlands
IT,s a great song it has to win it,s a eurovision winner it will stand out.
David, Milton Keynes
NUL POINTS! This is TRAGIC! It's like a Steps-wannabe band were put into a time capsule, and dug up just for Eurovision!
Webbster, USA
They sound terrible, they look awful... they'll go all the way !
Adam - Eurovision
OMG, this has to be the one, camp, pop, cheese, European and patriotic pride. Its Eurovision in a song!!!! Must, must win!
Tom, Middlesbrough
It's a bit 2000 isn't it?
Terry Wogan
Agggggggggggh! Im sure these will be selected to represent the UK but they are awful - They was dreadful the first time around and even worse now - Yet another year when the UK will do badly, What we need is something new and freah not a clapped out old Steps wannabe tribute band
Mark, Chester
I loved Scooch the first time around and always thought they would be terrific at Eurovision. They get my vote!
bobby, Plymouth
LOL! It sounds like they recorded it 10 years ago! What a shame, the dark haired ones cute!
Nick, Manchester
Catchy if a little tacky. Some of the gloss might wear off if they have to perform before or after Switzerland's DJ Bobo with a similar sounding song.
Jon, Leicester
This is really lame. Pop music has moved on since 1999 and this would just be an embarrassment in Helsinki.
rico newcastle
if they sing well it may not turn into another Gemini
mark London
This is so bad, it's TRAGIC
Jamie, London
Good Luck ...Nil points again for us then
Paul
This should be our entry!!
andi blackpool
gets my vote
andi blackpool
