You'd be surprised how many famous TV and Music stars hail from Turkey. We picked out favourite five Turkish exports...
1. Abs from Five
Abs from Five, AKA Richard Abidin Breen, was born in Enfield, London. Nothing very exotic about that, but his father Turan Sanveren is of Turkish Origin. Abs is SO proud of his Turkish roots that he's got a Turkish Flag tattoo - what a man.
2. Roland Browning from Grange Hill
As Erkan Mustafa's fansite says - 'Poor Roland often found himself on the end of Gripper's fist. But Erkan Mustafa was much happier and quite sporty at school'. Now rumoured to run his own restaurant in Soho, London.
3. Mahir
News of Mahir's 'interesting' website travelled the globe faster than Forrest Gump. It greeted visitors with the words: 'I am Mahir, I kiss you! Who is want to come TURKEY I can invitate ..... She can stay my home...'He's still awaiting a call
4. DJ Quicksilver
Orhan Terzi - a German-based DJ/producer fell into the charts at #13 with his track entitled 'Planet Love' back in the 90s. He went on to work with Shaggy and features in the 'Mr Boombastic' video. Not exactly the heights of fame but he gets douze points for the anorak.
5. Sertab
