The Songs ¦ Alcohol ¦ The Show ¦ Other

Next year they should vote and then play the songs. It will not make a difference to the result as a Balkan country will win.
Ian

Don't you think it is about time that ALL countries voted by way of a judging panel to eliminate some degree of the 'neighbour' bias that is making a mockery of the voting?
D Boughton

When James sings it's just like he's singing straight to me and those eyes! I would certainly like to get him on the floor!
Teresa
(Born in England, raised in Wales to Irish parents)

Eurovision has become a joke. The song (melody & words) used to be the important thing. Now it has become almost incestuous in the voting regardless of the quality of the music.
Evelyn

I think the results of this should decide whether we stay in EU!
Sue

I just wanted to say that I voted for the French entry as I felt sorry for his hair style. How did the Munsters get the job of presenting Eurovision?
Charlotte from Yeovil

Can you believe this voting system, I was the first to admit we deserved nil points last year but Mr Fox was by far the best entry this year. It is nice to know what europe really think of the UK
Adam, Nottingham

Why oh why do we enter this embarrasing competition year after year. It's not fair due to tactical voting. Thumbs up to Terry for his cynical view on the whole thing *grin*
James, Sweden

I'm beginning to wonder even if we had the best song in the world the UK still won't get a point OMG as I type England get 1 point. Whoopy Doo!
Jacquie

Dear Terry, have they insisted you tone down from last year's great display of sarcasm?? Come on, drop some good bombshells please....
Anon

Derrick Smith and Susan deBoeck I'm lying, I'm late, I'm losing my weight in the disco. Dean for president of the world!
Onslowe, Leeds

I can't believe how dreadful it all is - so funny! I represented the UK in Eurovision in 1985 (backing singer, not lead). I can't remember anyone singing out of tune then...
Linda, Somerset

I like singing and this Eurovision contest is FANTASTIC.
Louise, Bury St Edmunds
p.s i hope england does'nt get nil points AGAIN.

Terry Wogan, you are a love GOD!
Julia, Northamptonshire

We are both 11 year olds and we are having a sleepover to celebrate. We have baked a Eurovision cake, but sadly, it was rather unsuccesful! Our teachers at school think we are possibly the saddest girls alive, but then again, we do like Bert Bacharach! We also would like to say, GO TERRY! YOU ROCK!
Peaches and Berwin-Leeds

I live for the Eurovision it is the best night's entertainment of the year. Luv you Terry XXX
Dangerous Brian

The french guy had the scariest hair I've ever seen....don't vote for him. Terry forever we love you!
Katy, The Wirral

I feel that Terry Wogan is ruining the show. It is pleasant to have commentary, but not when it is rude or insulting.
Amanda

My family usually get together for Eurovision but we couldnt this year so we are texting each other with comments. It never lets me down.
Oakes Family

The French guy was great, beautiful language and great songs in French and Spanish!! Vote France!
Seb

What a spectacular opening to this years contest. I loved the song that won last year. My favourite part of the contest is Terry Wogan.
