About David

David Walliams is the author of four novels for children: The Boy in the Dress, Mr Stink, Billionaire Boy and his latest book, Gangsta Granny. This tells the story of Ben and his cabbage soup loving grandma, who also happens to be an international jewel thief who has spent her whole life plotting to steal the crown jewels...

David is also the creator, with Matt Lucas, of the phenomenally popular comedy show Little Britain, which entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2008 when it became the best-selling TV comedy DVD in the world. He is well known for his charity endeavors, including swimming the length of the Thames in September 2011, raising over one million pounds in aid of Sport Relief.
