John Peel's Sonar Video Diaries

We gave John Peel a video camera to document his time at Sonar 2002 - check out what he got up to...
Video Diary 1
"The sun is shining, we've got one or two beers, we've just had lunch, there's the prospect of a great deal of excellent music over the weekend, we're going to have a really good time..."

John on record shopping at the Sonar record fair: "Louise, the producer, found a little nest of happy hardcore records... we bought nine in total, and all of these at some stage or other will be heard on wonderful Radio 1!"

Thursday night, and it's time for John to do his One World show from a studio in Barcelona

Friday afternoon, and John checks out more of Sonar and then heads off to record a show for Spanish radio

John reviews his Spanish radio show - "it was interesting to see which ones drove people away, and which records brought them back again", before heading off for dinner with Carl Cox, "because those are the kind of circles we move in!"

Saturday lunchtime, and John's wife Sheila reports from the pub where everyone's watching the England match!
