'The Outer Limits' - A Sonar Documentary
Updated 22 June 2002

Sonar 2002 Looking for an antidote to the plodding dad-rock of the Stereophonics, Starsailor and Coldplay? Then consider blazing Barcelona in June. We take a look at 72 hours in the life of Sonar...

Listen to the documentary

When most of your mates are getting muddy, miserable and wet at the typically predictable Glastonbury and Reading festivals, you could be basking in the sounds of the future at Sonar. The annual festival showcases the world's coolest and most cutting edge experimental electronica from around the world.

We catch up with the big names at this year's Sonar, including Peaches, the Pet Shop Boys and Roger Sanchez; UK Sonar virgins Goldfrapp, Ladytron and Lamb, and festival stalwarts Orbital and John Peel, and follow them through 72 hours in the life of the world's most cutting edge music festival.
