Radio 1's Review with Nihal

Tuesday 21.00

He has his own weekend breakfast show now, but paired up with Bobby Friction, Nihal's been playing Asian beats on Radio 1 for five years!

Ever since he started promoting rap shows while doing his A-levels, Nihal's been living for music.

He was signed to a major label before leaving uni, and since then he's done time as a music journalist and a music PR, working for artists from Nitin Sawhney to Judge Jules, Beenie Man and Elton John.

Nihal DJs and hosts MC battles at his monthly club night Bombay Bronx. The Isle Of Wight Festival, Glastonbury and Bestival have all had Nihal on the DJ line up, as well as club gigs up and down the country.

You may have seen Nihal on his own rap show on MTV Base - The Drop and presenting the Saturday Show Extra on CBBC and arts show Desi DNA on BBC2.
