Red Hot Chili Peppers

Anthony Kiedis

Radio 1 hosted an exclusive free gig with one of the biggest bands on the planet, The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Red Hot Chili Peppers played a blinding gig at Canvas in London on Good Friday, 14th April 2006.

Our roving photographers were 'down the front' and in the crowd taking shots of Anthony, Flea, John and Chad. Not only that, there were loads of celebs and Radio 1 DJs there so we papped them as well.

Also, we took a pen and paper to the show and asked the audience to write us their one word reviews of the gig... so there are pictures of that too!

What can I hear?
On the Radio Player at the moment we have the gig recorded live at Canvas in London which will be online until 9pm Monday 24th April and the documentary will be online for good so you can check it out whenever you want. Also we have Zane's 30 minute interview with Anthony and John available as podcast

Were you there? Have you heard the gig?
We're dying to know what you thought of this show. This was a really different setting for such a massive band and we think, despite the lack of frills they played a blinder.
