Producers Note:

One World this week hears from Mike Paradinas - the artist probably best known as U-zic, talking about his independant Planet Mu label. It has gained a great reputation for being the home of some truly amazing music and artists including Venetian Snares and Capitol K. In the last year or so the label has also adopted some brilliant uk grime acts and we'll be spinning some of these in the show along with some other great tracks from the label's history.

Also on the show this week, we had the crazy maverick electronic punksters Polysics from Japan in the studio to play some tracks from their new album "Now Is The Time". They have just finished supporting the Kaiser Chiefs on tour and they really are a band that must be seen live. They came into the studio with a translator, but we didn't have too much success with the indepth questions - so we have let the music do the talking instead.

Our final guest is Dominic Eulberg who makes that sort of layered techno which makes you think if he was born a two centuries earlier he would have been a classical composer. He has perviously released music on Ware but it's the 12's he's been putting out on Traum Schallplatten which caught our eye. If there is one tune which you need to check out of his then make sure you buy 'Eine kleine Schmetterlings-Hommage'. This man is pure genius.
