2nd September
Karl Hyde took control of OneMusic
Rob da Bank is off to Bestival next week so we've asked one of our favourite electronic acts, Underworld, to host the show live on 8th September!
Karl Hyde and Rick Smith will be putting together two whole hours of fantastic music between 11pm and 1am. Karl has been a big supporter of the OneMusic shows and is a regular listener.
Underworld shot to fame with the release of their debut album 'Dubnobasswithmyheadman' which spawned the much loved classic 'Cowgirl', this was swiftly followed by 'Second Toughest In The Infants', 'Beaucoup Fish' and most recently 'One Hundred Days Off'.
It never really stops for Karl and Rick though, when they aren't touring, they're in the studio working on new material to sit alongside their other classic, and instantly recognisable, tracks 'Rez', 'Pearls Girl' and 'Born Slippy'.
This isn't the first time the boys have graced the hallowed Radio 1 studios though; they covered for John Peel in October 2004.
