Up-C Down-C Left-C Right-C ABC + START

Up-C Down-C Left-C Right-C ABC + START were in session on Huw's show on March 7th.

The name is a combination of Sonic the Hedgehog cheats from the Megadrive, with Cs added in.  Up-C Down-C Left-C Right-C ABC + START released their debut album And The Battle Is Won in October of last year. They are five lads from Medway in Kent on the Tap N Tin record label.

Tap N Tin was their local venue that has grown arms and legs including a label, a record shop and even a hair dressers!  The band formed as a blag to get into a venue on millenium New Year's Eve without paying the £30 entrance fee, it worked.

The band's only fan in the early days was so faithful that he was asked to become the now very important second drummer.

The Maida Vale session line up is:

Chris Garth on Guitar/synth
Gary Dimes on Guitar
Martin Taylor on Drums
James Bridges on Bass/Moog
Dale Forster on Drums/synth

Live dates include:

16 March- 2bob night @ Fox and Firkin, Lewisham, London
23 March- High Wycombe Uni, London
24 March- Post core night @ Bar M, Chatham
30 March - Qubar, Margate
