Huw will play the best on his OneMusic show and we'll showcase you on Huw's website for 4-6 weeks. Here's your chance to connect your music with an audience.

Unsigned DOs and DON'Ts

We're not into the illegal downloading of poor struggling artists, so we need your permission to allow us to put your MP3 and your picture (or logo) on Huw's website. For a full explanation of the legal agreement - click here.

Send your tracks on CD or vinyl
We prefer you to send music on CD or CDR (recordable CD). So when you burn tracks to CDR, make sure they are audio CDs (not data CDs) so that they can be played in normal stereo CD players. We also accept vinyl and mini-discs but NOT audio cassettes, DATs or 8-track audio cartridges (ask your dad).

Don't send MP3s
We don't accept MP3s, especially via e-mail! They can carry Trojan Horse computer viruses, they take forever to open and they slow down our email system. Plus it's lazy.

Don't send cover versions
We want to hear original recordings of your own tunes.

Don't send music with uncleared samples
Unless you can prove absolutely that you have cleared any samples used, we won't even consider playing your track.

But I'm on my own label...
For our purposes, 'unsigned' means you're still looking for a deal. You might have released things on your own label or be on a tiny label (less than 4 artists on the roster) but that's still OK.

Don't send demos from outside the UK
Sorry but this is a showcase for UK talent. You don't have to be from the UK but you must be a UK resident.
