Dance: Mash-up of Mass Destruction
1/4 NextNext
Comp winners (In)Deep'n'Dance Updated: 07/07/04
The Faithless remix winner is revealed, together with Bliss & Rollo's feedack

Everyone we've played these mixes to, both at BMG and Radio 1, has been bowled over by the quality of all of them. Even the people who wrote the song are well impressed - as you'll see from the comments on their listening session.

Sister Bliss, Faithless
"You could play all of them. Very professional. Maxi listened to them too, and was nodding away really impressed. We're not really drum'n'bass aficionados, which is why we didn't go for a dnb track as the overall winner - but we were genuinely blown away, and sorry that not all of them could win; honestly, in each style, they were properly good..."

And the winner is ... (In) Deep 'n' Dance
This tune was massively popular on the comments page, so many of you clearly agree with the judges.

Rollo: "I would be happy to have paid for it! Anthemic without trying too hard and really well structured; has all the builds and drops that Faithless like. Very proggy, would be a perfect B-side antidote to a big Faithless A-side mix."
Bliss: "Thought this was wicked. I'd play it out. Brilliant groove, and just grew and grew and locks you in. Very simple but really good, I loved what they did with the vocals; slightly twisted, they put some weird harmonisers on it I think?"
