If you didn't know, Wednesday September 21st is International Day of Peace, on which the world's citizens are invited to do something to try & bring world peace one step closer. In the current politcial climate, building bridges between the Middle East and the West has become ever more important.

An American organisation called AYUSA organises student cultural exchanges in which young people from Muslim countries experience life away from home, sharing their own culture while experiencing another.

Radio 1's Nihal follows one girl who swapped her life in Lebanon for a year in the United States.
