Mark Chapman

Mark Chapman

Sports presenter

What were you doing before Radio 1?
Continuity Announcer for BBC1 and BBC2.

Worst on air moment?
Hosting 606 and not having callers for 15 minutes because of a technical fault.

Three words that describe you:
Stroppy, moody, temperamental.

Advice on anyone who wants to get started in journalism:
Get work experience and be lucky.

Where would you like to be in 10 years' time?
Wherever there's work.

What's on your walls at home?
A massive print of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer just after he has scored at the 99 Champions League Final. That takes pride of place and there are some photos of my son as well.

Who would you most like to interview?
Jose Mourinho and Cheryl Tweedy.

My top three albums ever are:
Stone Roses - Stone Roses
Killers - Hot Fuss
Girls Aloud - What Will the Neighbours Say?

Who's your favourite reporter?
Jeff Stelling is a true pro on Sky Sports. A proper broadcaster and journalist who shows these ex-footballers exactly what presenting is all about.

I spend my time off...
Playing football and watching football.
