I was news editor at BBC Radio Nottingham.

Being part of a highly motivated, creative team.

Worst on air moment?
I once said “lesbianese” instead of “Lebanese”.

Three words that describe you:
Level-headed, flawed, keen.

Advice to anyone who wants to get started in journalism:
Go and visit lots of radio stations and be enthusiastic.

Where would you like to be in 10 years' time?
Watching Crystal Palace win the Champions League Final at the Bernabeu Stadium with Wayne Rooney scoring the winner.

Who would you most like to interview?
Buzz Aldrin – just what was it like being the second man on the moon?

If you could be famous, what would you be famous for?
Playing football.

Who's your favourite news reporter and why?
Nicholas Witchell – ginger news people should stand together.
