Where are you from?
London.

What were you doing before Radio 1?
Working in other parts of the BBC.

Best part of the job?
Going to Portugal for Radio 1 which meant I was able to watch football matches for free. 

Worst on air moment?
Being asked to sing a Barry White song on an overnight shift… don’t ask.

Advice to anyone who wants to get started in journalism:
Don’t give up – you’ll eventually get there. 

Who would you most like to interview?
David Beckham.

My top three albums ever are:
Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back. That's the only one that counts. 

I spend my time off...
Trying to not to think about news.
