Black Sabbath hail from Birmingham

To celebrate this week's Brit Awards, we're giving you five days of British music on Radio 1.

We want you to tell us about your favourite British acts - and we're doing it by region.

Ocean Colour Scene are the most amazing band live!

Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and Duran Duran. Ozzy's great on his own as well as with Black Sab.

Best Band from the west midlands has to be Editors at the minute, but an up and coming band is The Lenoards from Rugeley. Quality.

hows about neds atomic dustbin? just because there from the midlands, and a bloke who used to be in a boy band by the name of robbie williams? but i am a rock fan myself and agree led zep, black sabbath and the mighty slade you cant deny there famous all over the world!!!

The two biggest from this region are of course world renowned. Black Sabbath and Led Zep...Who can beat that???

Agent Blue are a great band from Stoke-on_trent who have just released their debut album which is really impressive. Also there's Editors from Birmingham who are just becoming more well known who are great, especially live.
