Kasabian
Kasabian are the best band to have come out of Leicester. They deserve more radio play than they get. can,t wait for the next album. I hope they win best british rock at the Brits!!
Rob
I was treated to kasabian in my freshers year before they broke through - nothing like the smug satisfaction of saying - 'I liked them before they wre famous!'
Jock
Deep Purple are the best band from the East Midlands. They are fantastic live
Kasabian
For being one of the only good bands ever to come out of the East Midlands and also for having such a sexy guitarist! (next great band from E.Midlands-Amusement Parks on Fire)
Amusement parks on fire
band from nottingham not been together long but have been signed and did a live session on radio 1. seen them live couple of times reminded of my bloody valentine or ride
Tris Bray
Tindersticks - from Nottingham are a fantastic band. Tindersticks' First Album was voted best album of 1993 by Melody Maker in 1993. It's recently been remastered and re-released. It's dark and beautiful music yet can bring a wry smile to your face.
Phil
