DJ H: What's the most embarrassing album in your collection?
Erick Morillo: Jackie the Jokeman album - an album full of dirty jokes!
Stuey P: What are the tunes that got you into House music?
Erick Morillo: One of Royle House 'Can You Party', Black Riot 'A Day In The Life', or one of the Todd Terry records, Jungle Brothers...
Mike: Whatever happened to the Mad Stuntman (Reel II Real Rapper)?
Erick Morillo: He's doing Hip-Hop and R&B in Brooklyn.
Pob: Where does Harry Choo Choo get his name?
Erick Morillo: Apparently he does it like a locomotive! No, he used to wear a conductor's hat in high school.
Bubble: Has Dave Beer caused you any problems?
Erick Morillo: No - but he showed me some of the best nights in London and Ibiza I've ever had!
Katy: Does hanging around with Dave Beer hinder your chances with the ladeez?
Erick Morillo: Not at all! But I don't really pull any more - I've settled down these days.
Kate Henderson: You've had a hard night/morning at work, what music do you listen to when you get 'home', to help you chill out?
Erick Morillo: Jill Scott, a lot of Hip Hop and R'n'B - that's what my girlfriend listens to too! I'm trying to learn how to chill out - I don't get much time.
Eduardo Tobal: Have you got Colombian heritage and, if so, are you planning on coming to Bogota, Colombia? I'm from Bogota and you have a lot of fans down here!
Erick Morillo: I am Colombian and I love it, but as of late it's gotten really dangerous down there and I'm gonna wait and see how it goes. I'm gonna hold off for a while 'til they resolve the situation.
Michael O'Sullivan: How difficult was setting up your own label? Did you need large amounts of money to get started?
Erick Morillo: It was very difficult. You don't need a lot of money, but it does help! I spared no cost. Obviously, having money did help.
BK: What would be a dream line up for you as a promoter?
Erick Morillo: Derek Carter, Carl Cox, Darren Emerson, Josh Wink, Louis Vega - if he does a 1991 set! And Larry Levan...it would have to be like a 2 week party to squeeze them all in!
Ally: Who is your best friend in the music industry?
Erick Morillo: My girlfriend! It's corny I know! She works for a record company so I gotta share everything with her. It's good to have someone to talk to, and them be unbiased.
Star: What is your biggest extravagance?
Erick Morillo: I just bought the building where my recording studio is - that's pretty extravagant!
Jason: What comes first; the beats or the melody?
Erick Morillo: I always start with the beats. Even if it's not what you're gonna use at the end of the day, it's good to have a tempo.
Freddie: Do you A&R all your labels?
Erick Morillo: Yes, but I have a person called Melvin Moore to help.
Dom: Is there any one Ibiza moment that stands out for you?
Erick Morillo: Playing the Space birthday party 2 years ago with Basement Jaxx.
Lovin' It: What is the most money you have ever been paid for a single DJ'ing appearance?
Erick Morillo: I really don't like talking about money. I'll leave that to the big DJ's like Paul Oakenfold!
The Piper: Who has helped you most in your career?
Erick Morillo: My mother and grandmother. Without them I wouldn't have had my equipment.
Nicolas: Erick did you ever think of remixing with El General again?
Erick Morillo: Absolutely! He's a great artist and friend.
Kerry Mickiewicz: What are your views on drugs within the club scene?
Erick Morillo: I think it's part of the scene. Some of the thing that happen because of it aren't wonderful. But it's a necessary evil - like corruption in politics.
Nicolas: Where do you shop in London for records?
Erick Morillo: Uptown Records, Black Market and Plastic Fantastic.
Degsy Cole: How are the new labels Sondos and Subliminal Soul going?
Erick Morillo: Like the nights in Ibiza - better than expected. Sandos has really edged itself into the market and Subliminal Soul - everyone's really on it. So I couldn't ask for a better start.
Geoff Coombs: Who do you see as stars of the future in the world of DJ'ing?
Erick Morillo: Yousef, Lottie, Harry Choo Choo, Jose Nunez, obviously Fergie - nice guy! And DJ Gregorie from France.
Rob Meredith: Have you got any plans to release an individual album in the near future?
Erick Morillo: Yes, I'm working on one at the moment. I'll be taking seven months off DJ'ing in October to complete it.
Leila: What does it feel like to have such big crowds loving what you do? Ego boost or what!
Erick Morillo: Not so much an ego boost but a lot of energy. It's very euphoric. Sometimes when you're with the right crowd it's better than an orgasm!
Radio1-Host: Here's Erick Morillo with a final word...
Erick Morillo: Thank you very much for the support and taking the time out to be a part of this webchat. I really appreciate it and looking forward to seeing you on the dance floors!
