Radio 1's annual London music showcase opened with Gilles's show live from Plastic People, followed on Thursday by Lamacq live from The Garage with King Adora, Mo-Ho-Bish-O-Pi and Easy World. John Peel had Stephen Malkmus, Calexico with Neko Case and more - their full sets are online.

Drum & bass came courtesy of One World, from Movement at Bar Rumba. Brazil's DJ Patife headlined, alongside regular Bryan Gee. All of this while the Dreem Teem were doing their thing down at Po Na Na's in Hammersmith. Friday: Danny Rampling was at Dance Wicked at Ocean and was joined by Tony Humphries and Robert Owens, before things moved over to Swerve at The End for a set from Fabio.

On Saturday rock took to the stage with Fear Factory, Earthtone9 and Apartment 25 from the Astoria. Meanwhile, over at Turnmills, Dave Clarke and Josh Wink mixed up a storm between 2AM-4AM for the Essential Mix.

Come Sunday we were still going strong with Dave Pearce at the Hanover Grand featuring Chocolate Puma, Baby D and Fergie - as well as Trevor Nelson live from the Subterania with performances from Aaron Soul, The Honeyz and Spooks.

Then the weekend rounded up on Easter Monday with Lamacq Live from Brixton Academy. Papa Roach and Hundred Reasons blew the stage away. Meanwhile, Westwood brought proceedings to a fitting close with his 1000 free ladies, a whole lotta Thug Love and some Hot Joints going down at Po Na Na in Hammersmith.

Still to come this year are all the festivals, then we take over Birmingham for another One Live In.... this October. Keep checking the Radio 1 Events section for all the latest news.
