Thursday 20th June - Lopez from Escuadrón Sudaca (Venezuela) and Audioperú from Frágile Discos (Argentina)
López represents the experimental faction of Venezuelan DJs on the fringes of dance music with just the right amount of electro rhythms and deep experimental music. Driven by the desire to share good music and fresh graphics, together with DJ Junz he formed the Simpl3 label to create a breakbeat movement in Venezuela, taking to the streets to produce the highest content parties with the available means.
For more info check out www.simpl3.com, though you'll probably need to be able to speak Spanish to understand it.
Audioperu is Rudy Martinez. He describes his music as a healthy mix of Cyberdelia, and the euphoric phase of 'ecstasy music' coupled with a fragile vision of pop, reconciled with melodies and the machine. On his album "Exito" (the first live disco dance of Argentina) he improvises as a musician and mixes as a DJ.

The independent label Frágile Discos from Beunos Aires is out to represent the latest generation of Argentinian composers who are most committed to the new global electronic culture. Since 1999, it has brought out works from soloists and bands that are equally concerned with the dance impulse and sound flight.
