However they are heavy involved with other aspects of the music business including production, running the Lifesaver record shop and Lifesaver, Timmion and D&S labels. Didier & Anonymous do a monthly mixshow on the national YLE radio and a weekly 3 hour slot on the local Radio Helsinki, as well as the monthly "Worldwide" club-night, started in 1996.
Didier has released 12"s under his own name and produced other hiphop-acts as well as Calypso King & The Soul Investigators..
Aavikko - Aavikko (meaning 'The Desert') are unassuming teenage trio Paul Staufenbiel, Tomi Kosonen & Tomi Leppänen from the small village of Siilinjarvi in eastern Finland. Paul and Tomi K are armed only with cheap electric organs, Tomi L plays the drums, but they manage to create Finnish instrumental techno which is genuinely entertaining and original. They've released an eponymous EP and debut album "Derek!" on the independent Finnish label Bad Vugum and in 1998 teamed up with the Hawaii Sounds label to put out the "Oriental Baby" EP, their second album "Multi Sync" and the "Viitostie" EP, the title track to which they describe as a 'high-octane Kraftwerk pastiche'. Aavikko recorded their debut session for the show last October.
