Glastonbury 2004.
Happy memories for Glasto veterans Orbital
Last updated: 25 June 2004

Orbital

Orbital will be playing their last ever Glastonbury this weekend.

Paul and Phil recently decided to call it a day after the summer festivals.

They've been reminiscing about their first Glastonbury in 1994 when they stood in for Leftfield. They told us about their favourite moment:

"It was the last track really. It was 'Chime' wasn't it?"

"Yeah - that was the first time we were able to really look up and think 'God, we've done it!' and to have a look at the audience and that was incredible."

"All the lights went down on the audience and you just saw all these people and their smiling faces."

"It was fantastic - and it was a sort of sigh of relief that everything had gone almost according to plan! It didn't break down - so that was a special moment."
