Glastonbury 2003
SFA Gruff's brush with the cops
Last updated 28 June 2003

The festival takes place near the quiet village of Pilton

Security is a top priority at Glastonbury this year, and even the performers can be open to police scrutiny.

The Super Furry Animals are performing on the Other stage today (Saturday), and Gruff told Radio 1 he had his own experience with the police in the village near the festival:

"I was involved in a slow speed chase through Pilton. The next thing I know there's flashing blue lights behind me, and the cops stopped me."

"They accused me of stealing my own car. So they stuck me in the back of the van and checked my records. So it was fine in the end."

Talk about Glastonbury to other people, right now Connector...
