Glastonbury 2003
Radio 1 Dance - Friday
Updated 27 June 2003

Fergie dropped kicked Friday night in to Saturday morning as his show came live from the festival. Radio 1's crown prince of BOSH played an incredible two hours of hard, funky beats to several thousand revellers and amazed us all with some first rate scratching over his rock hard house. Somebody's been practicing!

Unlike last year Fabio and Grooverider made it to the show on time. Once on the decks they rinsed it until 3am dropping a succession of tearing drum and bass cuts much to the delight of the bouncing crowd.

Bling brothers Bobby and Nihal took things in to the early hours with a mix of Desi beats and hip hop featuring their pre-recorded mix live from the Radio 1 Dance Area and finished up backstage in the studio.

Radio 1's meisters of chill Rob Da Bank and Chris Coco rounded things off with the relaxing extreme that is the Blue Room. The perfect way to wind down after a mad night. Glastonbury has well and truly begun.
